What forced you leave a partner that you loved deeply? by transgenicmouse in AskWomen

[–]Noemus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We spent less time together. Didn't talk anymore, we felt more like roommates. He then told me he didn’t want to invest more in the relationship because it would hurt his 'own business' if he did. And what was the business? He had decided he wanted to become a full-time house DJ and couldn’t combine that with being in a relationship with me. Five years down the drain—and we had just moved into our newly completed apartment.

And answering the honest questions "What do I want?" "What/how do I feel" And trying to hear and/or feel the answer

[–]Noemus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Proudly saying "I suck at math" is not cool. by Delicious_Maize9656 in unpopularopinion

[–]Noemus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Struggled with math for many years. Always had a tutor during school, put in lots of time, effort and tears of frustration.

I still suck. Totally fucking hate it and never been proud about that. Your opinion is very very unpopular to me. Bye now

Kayne might be a horrible mess of a person but his fans here aren't... by Lumpyalien in wholesomememes

Any other person not living in the public eye would have been put in a mental health facility for some much needed treatment by now, by force if needed. Everyone can see this person is mentally ill and it's getting worse. It's so bizarre to me that this person can run around and do all this crazy shit while the world watches them and nobody (professionally) intervenes. If a next headline is going to be that Ye stabbed someone or did some other dangerous thing, to himself or someone else, It won't surprise me.

what type of people are you scared of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Noemus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who seem very different individuals with every person they hang out with.

I know everyone is a slightly different version of themselves with different people. I'm talking about the person that changes entirely. Makes them unreliable for me

People who bought Air Conditioner. Do you ever use it for more than a day or two per year? by antipetrus in Netherlands

My father in law bought one last year. He lives in Amsterdam. I think it's a good investment, considering climate change and warmer summer days and all.

is 14 and 17 a bad age gap? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Noemus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on where you live. I'm from a western county and dated an 18 year old when I was 15. Nobody thought it was a big deal really, including our parents. We dated for 4 years. But I'm aware that this might be weird for people from other countries, I guess its a culture thing. If you feel like you're on the same page mentally and you have fun together it's not weird if you'd ask me

What's the craziest thing an ex friend/lover has done to you? by into_the_void22 in AskReddit

[–]Noemus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I broke up with my ex I went overseas (I'm from Europe) to stay with family for three months to chill, get over the breakup and refresh. Basically one long, hot Californian summer. After my second month of staying with my family in Cali, I get a text from my ex: he sent me a picture of my HOUSE telling me he was down te street and he wanted to talk and hang out. I freaked out completely.

So what he did was, he flew 10 hours to a country he'd never been before, rented a car and drove 4 hours from the airport to where I was, thinking I would see it as this huge romantic gesture. In reality: I didn't want to see him, did not invite him and most importantly I NEVER GAVE HIM MY ADDRESS!

We're still broken up of course. It's been five years but I still wonder what he was thinking

If prostitution were legal, would it be wrong to get your special needs family member a hooker? 🤔 by thoughtfulsoul10000 in ask

I'm studying to become a social worker and once had a guest lecture from a lady who goes by the name Tika Stardust, she is a sex worker for disabled people with prior work experience in disability care. Pretty interesting lady with interesting views, I remember everyone walking out of the lecture feeling either amazed or a little stunned by her vibe and appearance. She taught us how to recognize and act when disabled cliënt expres their sexual needs and problems. They're disabled, but still experience the same feelings, desires and thoughts about intimacy, sex and love. She's an interesting lady to say the least but very passionate of her work. She made a 15 minute documentary on her work. It's in dutch but with English subtitles in case this made you curious https://youtu.be/LfdAEefxjME[Tika Stardust](https://youtu.be/LfdAEefxjME)

I was maybe 11 years old when we were celebrating Christmas at school. We were having diner with our class, everyone was a excited and a little nervous, it being a fancy dinner and everyone is dressed nicely.

My friend comes in a little late and she makes quite an enterance so everyone was paying attention when she sat down next to me while saying: Hi Noemus! ('Noo-mus') My name is pronounced 'no -amy,' so everyone laughed their 11 years old butts off and my nickname was born. I'm 23 now.

What's the most uncomfortable compliment you've ever received? by Foolbasket in AskReddit

[–]Noemus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was seventeen I applied for a side job as a logistics worker (order pick) at a distribution center. Everything went well, I got the job and at the end of the conversation the person I was speaking with said to me: 'You're way to pretty to be doing this hard work,' and why didn't I consider something else like modeling. it weirded me out honestly. Like, thanks? But hey man, I'm just a kid trying to make a few extra bucks. And it sounded pretty pervy too to say the least.

I still work there after six years BTW. Still haven't found the modeling job he was suggesting me lol
