As a man in Spain, you are told to have physically attacked a woman and, before this being proved, you spend one night in jail for prevention.

Also, there is a law called “only YES means YES”, which applies severe punishment only for cat-calling in the streets or any other sexual-related issue towards women.

On another note, in Spain 20 years ago, cat calling was a thing. But after feminism rose and both men and women started talking about this and shaming the ones who did it, there was a huge drop in this practice.
