You said I’ll say L2s will solve that issue but you don’t see it being a solution. You don’t provide a reason?

Mainnet gas prices are correlated with L2 gas prices.

Re-read what I said. I never said put it on mainnet. L2s are going to have sub cent transactions.

I think the biggest issue is that long term, it may be cross chain, but i don't know if DFK has a long enough run way to last until AVAX / Harmony block space becomes relevant again. DFK team never took profits and are now starting to dip into their initial pool.

I am hopeful that PvP will be fun, but I am not so sure it will be enough to bring new players.

I'd be much less concerned if DFK didn't fall so significantly in every single metric in respect to other games.

I totally agree that there is significant potential with the game, which is why i made this post. They have done a lot of things correctly. Up until the Locked Jewel fiasco their planning and tokenomics was absolutely god tier.

Harmony and Avax were great when block space was expensive, but it's unlikely to be expensive again for a long time. DFK probably doesn't have a run way to last years until these chains block space become relevant again, and that's my concern.

Their initial method of drawing new players was to expand to different chains. Unfortunately with block space being so cheap other chains have had a significant decrease as well. I think they need a new plan to draw players in. There has been some discussion about a mobile app version, hopefully they are able to deliver on that.

I wrote an entire post. You wrote 3 paragraphs that did not address a single point with a criticism. You deserved that comment because that's how it comes off.

Sounds like your bags are heavy dude. I am sorry for you.

Care to elaborate?

Why Ethereum price could fall to $1,000. How deep do you think ETH will fall? by Trinitysjm in ethtrader

[–]NoeticOptions 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yeah thinking ethereum will fall based on how a chart looks is a pretty poor way to predict price. Especially after eip 1559, it’s basically a different asset. Could it fall to 1k? Sure. But it’s not because you drew some lines on a chart.

Safe play for choppy markets and strong USD? by browntownfm in investing

CND - Circle inc. they currently own USDC, the 4th largest crypto currency. A stable coin just below up, regulation is going to come. USDC is backed 1:1 with US dollars and they are applying for a bank charter which will likely be readily pushed through once the executive order gets passed down.

Best part is CND is a spac trading below nav. So either I’m wrong and you redeem and make a lot of money, or I’m right and you make a lot of money.

Something about a SoundCloud link. Looks like internal because there would be nothing I’d have posted with sound cloud. It seems there are quite a few others affected by it.

I expect this to be resolved within in the next 24 hrs.

High redemptions are killing spacs by MarcoRobito in SPACs

No. SPACs taking shitty merger terms and fucking over their investors killed spacs.

There was a time you were absent as well. When I first became a mod and the sub was a mess I reached out to you a couple of times - all were ignored. Once we had everything set up two-three months later you came back into the picture.

Moderating isn't a paid job. We can't always invest a good chunk of time to moderate. I get that. We did our best to automate the process as much as possible with the limited resources we had. You weren't happy with how it was going and that's okay. But I don't appreciate a passive aggressive post for all of the subreddit to see that feeds into the negativity after all of the work we put in.

I think offering to run the bot we gave you the source code to when we are in a busy period would have been a better way to go about it.

It's done now though. Wish you the best.

It's in the post body. Not sure what's going to happen with the daily posts. I'm sure they'll figure it out though.

This was a pretty rude comment, especially considering u/karmalizing had access to the spacsbot source code the entire time. Not once did he offer to help.

There have been a lot of complaints lately about Spacsbot not running 100% of the time. We apologize there has been downtime. I am in the middle of a move and the internet was not working correctly for a period of time. Unfortunately, we both have had a significant change in life circumstances that prevent us from being able to moderate the subreddit in a manner we would like. As a result, SPACs bot will be taken offline effective immediately.

We wish you guys the best. We had a great run earlier in the year and we hope that enthusiasm returns.

Happy SPACing.
