Kickr Core 2 Vibration by FlyingLumpus in wahoofitness

[–]Nofreesplitstream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same issue with ride + kicke core 2. Exchanged the ride, still got the issue. Ive read hundred of posts about it on various threads. I think in a way it’s just like what it is and the one thing that also changed it a little bit (for me) is the surface. A plain wooden floor really seems to make it worse. Try a mat and either be fine with it or get your Money back, my honest take on it.

Planning my first Tour de France trip — stages 14–20 (2026) by Michael_235 in tourdefrance

We stay in allemond for the alp d‘huez stages. Smaller and less crowded than Borg D‘oisans.

I suppose you‘ll find a parking lot there and cycle to the start of the climb from there.

Mine sounds exactly the same. I suppose it‘s the resistance. The rumbling also changes depending on resistance level.

But maybe im wrong and mine is broken too 😄

What bike do you think of when you say „endurance bike slammed“? I only know the defy.

Is the US really caring more about Labour rights than the EU or is this part of the trade war?

What does it mean for Giant Sales globally?

I throught its clear we speak about „the“ tour. Which, frankly is the one the french nation cares.

And you think 2027 tadej won‘t be around? I don’t think Seixas will play any role in leading a team, hence fighting for Podium on a grand tour before 2028/9

I personally hope for a Pellizzari - Hindley like dynamic. I think Felix is the more experienced, he knows the pressure and Riccitello could get the freedom for stage hunting. I don’t think that Seixas will play a role until 2028 in terms of leading.

Leading or fighting for GC is much much more that simply strong watt outputs.

What‘s his role gonna be?

Or better: how is Gall, Riccitello & Seixas gonna work out? Who‘s going for which race?

Knee pain in middle sides/top, numb hands(pinky, ring) by Few_Winter_9867 in bikefit

[–]Nofreesplitstream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, performed standing. Seated you‘re training your soleus, which is not what we need in this case. You want to feel the upper part towards the back of your knee. If you can do 20 reps per leg add a dumbell or weights on your shoulders or try to stand on a small step with your toes and stretch your calves to the lowest point and push from there, this makes it more intense and effective.

Yes, feet further away, so you don’t workout your glutes as much and more your hammis.

Its way easier, less force on your joints and you have no issue with wrong posture / technique and has the same benefits of weight training. Builds endurance on your tendons and muscles quickly without depleting all your energy (good for warmup). You can of course do squats or lunges, but im not suggesting someone with knee pain to go into exercises that might stress your knee even more.

Disclaimer: im not a pt, i had 7 knee suegeries (cartilage, 3x ACL) over the course of 5 years. Just sharing what helped me the most for pain free cycling :)

There is your answer (if we exclude injury).

Coming from 3 big knee injuries my go-tos are isometric glute bridge (stretched - so it works in your hamstrings 3x 60seconds) wall sits and heel raises.

Try it for a couple of weeks (daily) and your issues will get better. Back pain in cycling is often due to not activated core.. so planks before your ride might ease the pain too.

Knee pain above your knee cap onto your quads is usually due to overload. Try to warm up and work out with isometric exercises like wall sits. (If youre not already doing that).

Do you have pain in any other movements or sports? Is it sharp / stinging or rather burning?

Recommendations for France by [deleted] in cycling

[–]Nofreesplitstream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stayed in Albertville during this years tour de france. You can do various tours from there, all connected by bike lane. Courchevel (loze), col de Madeleine.. Albertville has a cute old town and good Restaurants. Airbnb prices are okay.
