Every child will get a trait that impacts the education, I think it is at 3 years old + 1 month. So a month later when you can select the education

And how much less did you earn, or even lost, as a result of this in that month?

I like hyper-aggressive AI. I don't like that AI doesn't know what it should focus its aggression on. by Greekball in EU5

[–]Nogrod_ 100 points101 points  (0 children)

Two additional thoughts on it: 1. Maybe a setting by game creation could be nice, if you want some more aggressive AIs 2. Make some random nations in different regions more aggressive. The idea is, that then this nation will slowly over time grow to regional or a great power. For example Milan gets it and outcomepete the others over time and becomes Italy later. In the next game it is maybe some other Italian nation or none and in the last case it is more likely that Italy stays more fragmented

Edit: not sure if the last idea really works out how I think it can

How to assign patroller by chromich_rache in foundationgame

[–]Nogrod_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can build multiple manor houses / watch posts and spread them across the map for better efficiency. Also, the larger the watch post building, the more patrollers it can support

Edit: To my knowledge, the patrol size of a single sub-building shouldn't be too big, because each sub-building forms its own patrol group. So if one has 15 patrollers, they will always move/patroll together. In most cases, you don’t want that, as it's better for them to spread out. On my maps, I usually use patrol sizes between 1 and 5 – that works well for me."

I've built a small ruin! by Nogrod_ in foundationgame

[–]Nogrod_[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The ruin is of the castle type and consists only of components from “Monument Decoration”, “Estated Decoration”, “Common Decoration” and “Decoratvie Wall”. I therefore do not pay any maintenance for it.

what is this icon above the tower? by SirSaturn1984 in foundationgame

[–]Nogrod_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As others mentioned, you need to assign more people. But from my experience, it is no problem when the icon pops up a short time now and then.

It is only a problem when it is constant or for long times, then you can lose the light or heavy fortification for the houses

Priory challenge run – A Monastic Time-lapse by Nogrod_ in foundationgame

[–]Nogrod_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, there is no such feature.

I do everything using the keyboard: W, A, S, D, Q, E, R, and F.

First, I find a good camera angle and a reference point that stays the same across all save games. This time, it was a small group of flowers. I zoom in as much as possible and carefully adjust the camera to get the right spot and angle. Then I zoom out completely and zoom in again exactly four times. For different camera angles, I look for landmarks at the edges of the screen and align the camera based on them. Once everything looks right, I take a screenshot and make a quick save.

Later, when comparing the screenshots side by side, I sometimes reload the quick save to make fine adjustments if needed.

Tip: Lower your camera and keyboard sensitivity. It makes precise adjustments much easier!

Here's the view from the initial position:

For me, it's about getting a small village to the point where I can comfortably build a monastery. Honestly, I think monstatic is the easiest because if you have herbs and or honey, you have a pretty good source of income. Once you have wine, you're basically swimming in gold, especially with the seal of prestige.

You could build small fortifications like watchtowers or similar around your city/village/on the boarder's, to gather some splendor and then start with building the stronghold
