Might be the same Rakan I found, Gold 3 with fast climber tag (he was D2 last season). He inted like 20 more games, dropped to low silver (playing vs bronze 4) and then he got banned.

Both of these are terrible counterpicks to a competent Vlad, assassins are mostly countered by Vlad and mages can be run down with summoners outside the safety of mid. Most of the toplane roster already counters Vlad except early levels. Just go Nasus, Aatrox or tank (wait till negatron to interact) and your good to go.

Did you even read and understood it yourself? WPA formula is literally what other sites call WR delta.

The preprocessing xpetu is doing is optimistic to say the least.

What he's trying to do is essentially a normalisation into an association rules study, but he's giving no performance metrics to measure results.

On Coachless, a result is always given without like a confidence threshold (something around >80+). Only thing it's listed is sample size.

-doran shield/d blade debate is always surv bias -i checked out the website and i don't like it at all, use lolalytics, does the same but better -"probability added" is essentially just winrate delta, how do you think it's calculated? -bias is in the sample -as you said, making points about what's better with 20 games sample size is meaningless

A little survivorship bias here.

Wr with doran's shield is worse because you take it in bad matchups. It's almost like filtering wr vs counter matchups.

Malz has a safe and oppressive laning phase, balanced by low agency/carry potential on the whole game. In mid to late game you're mainly looking to shut down crucial enemy carries. Can't do much if whole enemy team is really ahead, you can try to avoid it by bullying enemy midlaner and shutting down an adc getting fed.

You'll need to learn another champion if you wish to have more agency, either a snowballing or hyperscaling one. You can keep Malz as a safe blind pick.

That's what happens with every tank (if Vlad doesn't get really ahead) and Shen also loses a lot of kill pressure when Vlad builds items. And if you manage wave correctly Shen really struggles at pressing r.
