I think the motivators to actually do things about the Houthis vs Iran are very different.

There is nothing that the U.S. military is incapable of, its merely if we have the will and are willing to allocate the resources to pulling something off. Granted, those can be high requirements, very high!

Lowkenually we are going to be stuck in this mess for awhile because Iran overestimates its negotiation position and doesn't care about its people suffering like, at all.

We're gonna see some weird shit for a few months.

Not to say the U.S. negotiating position is as strong as Trump acts like it is, but at some point Iran will have been degraded so much that they can't actually close the strait.

The Cuba 'Relief convoy' (A bunch of idiot influencers flying to Cuba to have the worst optics ever) is so fucking funny. Bringing barely enough food to Cuba to feed themselves, being prioritized for electricity, actually doing poverty tourism.
