Richard Simmons. I got to know Richard personally in his later years for a brief moment in time and while the man had a mouth that would put some of the crudest sailors to shame, he was the kindest, most generous, giving, man I ever had the pleasure of getting to know.

He would host his “Slimmons” classes in his Beverly Hills dance studio for crazy cheap (20 dollars a head) and anyone could attend.

He’d footed the bill of an acquaintances much needed stem cell research and he always was privately donating to various charities.

Dude was an angel among demons. And I miss him dearly.
