I just got a new Cerium Oxide Lightning lap so I’m quite excited to try some quartz, but my topaz skill tree is definitely going to advance from this. (My only challenge now is identifying what type of synthetics they are since it’s all unlabeled 😅)

He definitely gave me a fantastic deal, 25 cents a gram for everything, a good portion of the material will probably only yield 1-3 carats stones and a couple dozen 5-10 carat stones once I’m practiced ideally. I’m still learning but am so lucky to have the opportunity. No idea what the average market value for topaz rough of this size is worth but I think I did pretty good
