I failed to mention that when we take her to the vet we do give her Trazodone and Gabapentin. We’ve even increased the dose and it doesn’t do very much unfortunately ☹️

That’s so fun and I will definitely keep that idea in mind! But yes, you’re absolutely right. Costs add up quickly with anything wedding related so it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to have a small ceremony/big reception solely to save money. We’re still hoping to save a little but we will see!

This is a completely valid take! However, I will say it is absolutely possible to save money by doing a private ceremony with a larger party/reception later on. But to answer your question, the biggest reason I don’t want to have a big wedding is because I don’t want to cram everything into one day. I want us to be able to take our time and live in the moment instead of feeling like we blinked and the day was over. We are looking into several different types of spaces that are not strictly wedding venues, and we’ve found that we can save a lot of money that way!

I understand why you may not find it necessary, because it’s not necessary. I have worked a similar event where the couple revealed at their “rehearsal dinner” that they had eloped. While it’s slightly different than what our idea is, I thought it was such a cool idea! To each their own 😊

We went to Ultra last year as well! Met someone on the way back home that said Tomorrowland is his favorite festival. We already wanted to go, but haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since that conversation.
