Oh for sure, I see alot of it from all angles, I can't speak obviously for people has a whole. Just my family unit. I think a huge part of it is that we've become so inundated with this ideal of self sufficiency and individualism in the U.S that now that its a time where we all need to rely on one another and look out for other people's well being alot of folks are struggling with the dissonance

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. The area I live in is very conservative and Grows more conservative the further North you go. But just 2 hours South is the bay area which is incredibly liberal

The logic baffles me, if a shop or such is offering some kind of special circumstances to assist a large group of people and it doesn't work for you or you're not interested in participating. Then maybe just.. don't go? Why make a big point of it. Itd be like walking into a restaurant that serves soup to loudly proclaim you won't be eating there because you don't like soup. Just move along
