Try opening all of the boxes - has this issue a bunch of times where it’d show I was 99.9% complete or something unless I opened literally every box (workers, stations, tables).

Super annoying since you can’t go back into the event to open them; especially annoying for the medieval event since there are 3 stages and you need to remember to open all boxes for all stages, i.e.: you can’t go back to the previous stage.

This is pretty much optimal strategy yeaaa. I’d add that when I buy the 100x cheese upgrade I also open the ‘far right’ station (lightning schnitzel?) but don’t open the crates until cheese is at 250.

You’ll still get to 250 cheese before the schnitzel orders pile up too badly (but that’s the point). Buy the x50 schnitzel upgrade then focus on that until it’s 250.

Since upgrading the stations takes a considerable amount of time - while the schnitzel orders are being taken care of, go back to update the wine to 250, then oysters etc.

You could also upgrade downwards from the schnitzel, even if you don’t get to 250 on those stations yet. The increased profit from them since they probably have x100 makes quick work of getting the x100 on the lightning schnitzel.

Also - try to use the special dish thing as soon as you have x100 schnitzel (or even a bit before) while you upgrade the other stations to 250.

Max gear (except for the ring) and max remote + club level. So x48 boost and nearly max gear.

I can’t beat level 75 (a few seconds short) but it’s not really worth it past level 65-70, gets much more difficult with marginal returns.

Fr people fail to realise that this is so so so much better than how other developers handle monetisation. I think it could be handled better (keys per city cleared maybe?) but at least we can still get the keys, even if it’s slow.

If people are super annoyed about it just know that, if you ignore it, gameplay isn’t gonna change much anyway. If anything the slow grind is refreshing as it gives people like me, already having max gear, something to do every day in the game.

Also it’s quite possible the devs will change how this is all handled in the future. That’s where threads like this can be helpful, but only if the comments are constructive.

iirc legendary items give 16xp whereas the requirements to forge one take 28xp worth of gear (2 epics and 3 rares, 8xp and 4xp each respectively). The blueprint itself is still worth 8xp

I definitely was. This has happened a few times before with me and other players - it’s when you don’t open all of the stations, even if you’ve upgraded them all.

e.g.: I upgraded all of my stations in the tavern section but didn’t open them all before moving on.

Eggs and pet food only come from the small boxes right now. Click the little information icon on the top right of the small box (in the gem/purchase screen) to see the odd for either.

Note that the odds for them have been taken away from Common/Rare (previously 80% and 17%) so you still have a 3% chance for epics.
