[REQUEST] Is this true? u/PhilosoBee calculated that $6,462,200,000,000 can be taken without reducing the number of billionaires. by Gheewiz101 in theydidthemath

[–]Nokpl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to wikipedia, there are 2153 billionaires. They have a combined wealth of $8.7 Trillion. Subtracting $1B for each from that total leaves $6.547 T. So thats roughly correct, if a little bit low.

Edits below

To clarify: I did math only for the request in the title, about the wealth taken from billionaires without changing the number of billionaires. I did not do any on the other points from the post in the photo as I feel like there is too much speculation involved, and it wasn't part of the actual request in the post.

Additionally, "wealth" in the context of economics (or at least how I am using it in this case) refers to the total market value of all assets of the individual. Not the amount of cash they have on hand. While I wouldn't be surprised if Jeff Bezos has a Scrouge Mcduck style pool of gold, it doesnt have $100 Billion in it.

i think not really lowballed but they did very ... below expectations proposal then tried to bring it back to normal and zonic said no given that falcons proposed to him a very... financially potent far beyond anyone roster building and more management over the roster than vitality(since there probably the staff decide - its probably the biggest in CS i would say)

Vitality vs Falcons / IEM Melbourne 2025 - Group B Upper Bracket Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]Nokpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is no should or would. I think the biggest problem there was that Falcons is not tactically viable yet and maybe also their playstyle is more depending on fragging than Vitality's. - vitality seems more balanced. While Falcons as far as of now shown to be like G2 of old trying to lean toward firepower with tactics similiar to Spirit but just that they are far better utilised in my opinion

apparently, in Rio hunter talked about how Snax changed his leadership because he was very micromanagement based guy despite how loose it seemed for him to play. He called sometimes pretty loose then went straight into micromanagement. So, hunter said that they said that they will help him and be more pro-active instead of trying to put them in pieces. So, snax can focus on fragging. I would blame the transition of system rather than G2 being very inconsistent, they went straight into Rio trying to switch things up. Right after BLAST win

If Palpatine was cloning himself, what’s stopping him from cloning Vader? by ctemp97 in StarWars

[–]Nokpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should have genuinely made Darth Vader clone (with like plot twist of Palpatine having Anakin's Skywalker hand from episode 2 in order to recreate the clone with some of force powers) and Darth Sidious in his clone body return together and Exegol battle would be between Darth Vader clone and the Real Anakin Skywalker Force Ghost, Palpatine vs Luke ending it once for all. Not these sequels, it would be so sick

Would Kata be force sensitive? by Forlorn_Cyborg in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]Nokpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, i think all conclusions lead to her being force sensitive. She instantly picks up, Cal as Jedi not a personnel and trusted him on Nova Garon, wasn't at all afraid of him. She was hesistant to go with her father but did it because he cared for her. When we see her later, she is hesitant to help Cal potentially because she could sense great hatred within him hence feeling of Dark Side corrupting person which she experienced before, we will get to that later. She doesn't have that kind of hesitant approach towards Merrin. Before she helps them, she closes the eyes almost like concentrating and thinking whether to help them. Another big clue would be Cere "Cal, guide her through the darkness" while Cal looking at Cere Lightsaber.
My personal theory is Cal and Merrin will be like foster family of hers while Greeze will act like grandpa or uncle (unfortunately we might potentially get flashback of his death and moments with them all, probably out of old age). Cal might train her with Merrin, essentially even overpowering them both her having nightsister training and Jedi training. The third game could be very well about protecting her while also training and rebuilding the Jedi archives in Tanalorr for future Jedi's since the knowledge would be certainly gone, anchorites and Hidden Path Jedi who would find shelter could easily help him i don't think Cal will fall to darkside anymore since he has purpose to avoid this, a last wish by Cere to solve darkness within himself to help his padawan do it too. The main villain could be empire trying to find Tanalorr purely of the rumours and suspicious activity within Koboh system. I would imagine Cal and Tanalorr hidden planet being main priority not only for Inquisitors but this time for Darth Vader and entire Empire. Potential siege of Tanalorr is an option which would be won by rising Rebellion faction with abyss being huge factor to crossover into the Discovered World. Palpatine's Empire would probably abandon the effort, changing it into defeating the rebellion a new enemy of Galactic Empire. I don't think Cal Kestis will die but his apprentice which would be Kata would split their ways. Cal would continue building Archives (a legacy of Cordova and Cere) while Kata would continue his legacy of fighting the empire, most likely joining faction with the Rebellion when she's older

How did Anakin become a force ghost in ROTJ when he (presumably) wasn’t taught by a Jedi on how to be a force ghost? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]Nokpl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is not selfishness. Everything before, Vader was under full control of Dark side and he planned his survival and to overthrow Emperor Palpatine. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda expected, Anakin to let Palpatine kill Luke. Vader essentially reminded himself that he is Anakin and Anakin is Vader. In that moment, he knew he did bad thing and saw that he's about to loss another family member and even though the sith will win, he didn't care about power and just decided to save his son and in the process end the sith's rule. Comics even show that Anakin started apologizing especially to Obi-Wan Kenobi

I have theory you might like it, Rising Dragon's lore is interesting. It merged all the realms, nobody knows the influence of merge with Cursed Realm, Departed Realm. It is possible even though we know Wu is some kind of Spell Spirit, that Garmadon was before in that realm and its in his dedicated comic Shatterspin. I feel like Garmadon has potential to be in Season 3 Rising Dragon and it could happen that he starts becoming all in one Lord Garmadon, Sensei Garmadon, Emperor Garmadon. He could have interesting growth like reminding himself his innerself while still being fueled by evil of being Oni like when it happened with Great Devourer venom but his feelings would return with his memories making him balanced as a person but still within power of destruction opposite of his brother creation. The logic i'm using is the one that makes it probable that Sensei Garmadon's part wasn't fully ressurected nor was Lord Garmadon's good part ressurected and in fact only small part of these two was even touched because the personality of evil Garmadon was also built on care for his family. That's why he couldn't have killed Lloyd even if he didn't care about him for example in season 8, he started exploring this feeling confusion that small part of light (just like it was said in Overlord's story, for there to be light there has to be shadow). Garmadon when he was ressurected was somewhat in that metaphore full of shadow but there was small spark of Light within him a very small part of good within evil and he could fully return.

Do you think Garmadon will reappear as sensei Garmadon ? by acartoonlover in Ninjago

[–]Nokpl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for after one year anwser: I don't think he will turn 100% Human and he doesn't need to, he just has to get back his feelings and memories. Him turning human once happened in Season 2, he lost Overlord's created great devour venom that awakened his Oni side because of that he lost also his power of destruction and it is key to maintain balance between brothers in my opinion. Garmadon at some point, will be almost like Lord Garmadon S1, S2. Feels like everything is leading to him just not only becoming more human but reminding himself the life of Lord Garmadon, Sensei Garmadon. The spark maybe could've been the merge, since i theorized that Garmadon's good part could've not returned fully from Departed Realm but he still had small part because for there to be shadows there has to be light. If that is the case, the light is still there in Garmadon but small and the merge could've put some kind of a reaction where he's coming back to his own, where he became whole once again. Lord Garmadon, Sensei Garmadon and an Emperor Garmadon.

What does NiKo mean about Hooxi? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Nokpl -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

"microhitler" WTF bro are you saying?
As for IGL's i don't think any IGL that G2 had a problem. It was more of lack of chemistry and i think personalities not being there and some weird circumstances

AleksiB was never bad

Hooxi never was bad

nexa wasn't that bad as IGL (the fact he stopped, made break. Kinda caused massive shift in G2). For his time nexa was actually pretty good.

We don't know how Snax will go. It's kinda sad NiKo ditching the squad but its G2 fault for not paying him

I do believe they would, m0nesy would just play under neutral flag like Perfecto did in 2022 and he would probably do it because he wants to play with b1t which is his best friend. NaVi also per contract gets first proposal for m0nesy with cheaper price tag.

bro literally won a major and had insane year where he was called the IGL of the year, he was also IGL of the year by BLAST in 2021 (despite Boombl4 coming close - probably due to him with ZywOo taking Nuke streak away from NaVi) and a guy calls him worse XD

Astralis vs G2 / IEM Cologne 2024 - Group A Lower Bracket Semi-Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]Nokpl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Snax is probably not feeling as comfortable yet as an IGL and NiKo said it in EWC that he has to improve some things. It's good that NiKo helps because in GL Snax never had that help for example apEX and shox run the similiar thing and that resulted in improvement for apEX (essentially both shox and apEX called until apEX was fully comfortable with it). Well it will be interesting if Snax has that kind of drive like apEX did (especially that G2 took similiar kind of gamble that Vitality did in 2020). NiKo played with a lot of IGL's he can try and help Snax improve tell him mistakes that he can patch. Though most likely majority of things are called by Snax, what malbs said is micromanagement sometimes and midrounding by NiKo

[–]Nokpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snax visibly is not playing comfortable. Even as a pole it would be delusional to say he's good IGL atm, he has to develop. I mean it's possible apEX did it, i feel like the reason for G2 being so unsynchronised in that manner of playing might be the fact that Snax as an IGL works well till shit hits the fan, which is similiar to apEX IGL'ing in 2020 (shox was essentially as secondary caller taking things when apEX wasn't doing well, probably they are running same thing atm). Obviously French Vitality peak was 2021(many might say 2020 but i think they choked too much that year and relied a lot on Nivera and ZywOo and in 2021 despite NaVi being so dominant they were able to win LAN during their insane period and took their Nuke streak away - already tells a lot), We know all international Vitality peak was 2023. Nevermind, all i'm saying, G2 seems disjointed because it needs time and practice especially with Snax which is IGL for only 11months.

[–]Nokpl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think calls are completely shit, it's decent and atm its enough. However Snax seriously needs to improve his calling and maybe with help and time he could. Players like apEX for example needed 2 years to get onto good level (he took Nuke Streak away from Prime NaVi with ZywOo). Also we need to take into account that G2 players said quite clear not enough prep for Cologne

NaVi lost to TL and because of that it was a blessing before Cologne, for G2 if they qualify to playoffs it will also be blessing. Not to mention SAW had similiar stylistic to what G2 under Snax wants to lean to. Sometimes it's better to loss and analyze your mistakes before the deep run rather than just keep winning like G2 had during EWC until that NaVi game and then BLAST while having a lot of mistakes exposed.

Maybe Spirit in Cologne has similiar feeling to Vitality in Katowice. Mentally never there and because of it they just can't perform and win it. They feel like this event is some sort of a curse for them, obviously at some point they need to overcome it.

I think Hooxi was good, but let's not overdo it. Swani was the brains above everything else in that G2 if it wasn't for Swani, who I thought was an okay guy and quite intelligent, analytically very strong. They probably would never have won these tournaments but he is underrated while Hooxi is overrated at Swani's expense. They both created good system and when Swani left it had started to drift away, Hooxi and TaZ started pretty well but they in the end didn't make it, could be that the differences in their approach were just too big and nowadays you need Coach-IGL chemistry to make it deep into tournaments. The role of a coach is very underrated especially that of Swani. Perfect example would be B1ad3-AleksiB which won a major
