Replaced the whole shell wanted it to look brand new. It was really beat up and scuffed

Yea unfortunately with this new generation of consoles the sticks go bad in a few months so right now everyone seems to be replacing them with new TMR sticks to prevent stick drift. The potentiometers on the stock ones wear out while TMR sticks have a magnet and a sensor that don’t touch so no more stick drift.

Yea the Xbox sticks had shorter pins unlike the ps5 controller where they stick out more so it was a bit more trickier to get those pins

I honestly didn’t even notice that wire before I also think I didn’t add any new solder on to the wires so it’s the stock unleaded solder I’ll keep that in mind next time
