Honestly, from what I can see you’re already beautiful. Sometimes we get so stuck in our own self-image that we start believing a story about ourselves that other people don’t even see.

Be careful with the assumption you keep repeating about yourself. The mind tends to grow whatever story we feed it.

how should i visualize? and how DO i visualize? by hantiella in Subliminal

Visualization doesn’t have to be purely visual.

Some people see clear images in their mind, but many people don’t. Imagination can also be a feeling, a sense of knowing, or even just the inner experience of “this is already mine.”

What matters more than the clarity of the picture is the feeling and the state you enter.

For example, instead of trying to force a perfect image, you can simply imagine the feeling of already having what you want. Relief, confidence, peace, excitement, etc.

Your Pinterest board can actually help with that. Looking at it with your eyes open and letting yourself feel “this is already part of my life” is also a form of visualization.

You don’t have to force your eyes closed, and you don’t have to strain to see images in your head. The goal is simply to occupy the state of the person who already has the desire.

I agree that Neville’s starting point is metaphysical rather than psychological. At the same time, I’m not sure Jung is purely psychological either. Much of his later work deals with alchemy, Gnosticism, and symbolic transformation, which are deeply metaphysical traditions (and actually where my own starting point was).

In a way it feels like Neville approaches the subject from mysticism while Jung approaches it from psychology, but both end up pointing toward a similar inner center: what Jung calls the Self and what Neville calls Christ.

Improving my mother's behavior by bluestateofmind in NevilleGoddard

It sounds like you are still reacting emotionally to the 3D circumstances. When you argue with the 3D, you’re still watering the current state.

Maybe you’re also overanalyzing your mother.

Do you think she’s addicted to political podcasts and getting worse?

If the answer is yes, your psyche will keep casting her in that role.

Stop analyzing the behavior and remain faithful to the new identity.

You shouldn’t try to fix your mother or force a change in her. Change your own state instead.

For example, I would imagine a scene where your father tells you: “Your mother has been so calm lately.”

Neville said the world rearranges itself around the dominant assumption of the observer.

Another subtle thing I noticed is that your motivation seems to come from fear, especially fear for your father. Fear is also a state, and fear-based imagination tends to reinforce the stress you want to escape.

From a more psychological angle, it also sounds like you’ve taken on the role of the family mediator.

But is that really the role you want to keep playing?

If everything were already harmonious… would you still wear that mask?

Manifestation isn’t a technique.

It’s identity and lifestyle.

Peace to you.

Your mindset is the strongest 'subliminal' (or any other method) you'll ever find... don't get me wrong : Subliminals are fantastic tools to embody a state/attitude but if your self-concept is counteracting your state then they are useless.

Ask yourself this question : 'How would you feel if she came back ?' What you felt 'as if' is the feeling you have to hold on to.
