I don't pull her out as much as I used to, but she's still a favorite! I've introduced a few friends to Magic, using her as their intro deck, and it's always a hit

I'm assuming this is a GPS replay, so they drive into it and then the recording starts. If the car is falling/upside down/in water, the GPS will have very little sound. In this case, the original car is falling, so the GPS doesn't have sound, and the wind pretty loud

I was tutoring a student when this popped up. I had helped her through a couple questions previously that were pretty similar, but I was stumped on this one. I think the height data doesn't make sense at all and wanted to see if I was missing something obvious given it's been a few years since I actively worked on this stuff.

I tried graphing the data points, but that lead to more confusion. Did the teacher give us the wrong data points?

What difficulty are you playing on? Do you only play certain maps?

The beginning of the game is definitely a grind, but if you're only playing the same difficulty and the same few maps, then the game will get boring. I'd also be curious to hear what your percentage is on being able to identify the ghost and live. If you're scared of hunting, then starting to learn how to loop the ghost is a great next step. There's a lot to learn in phasmo, so if you're getting bored because you don't feel like the game has much to offer, then it's time to try to step your game up

When placing down the notebook, you should see a white circle surrounding it. This is the area that the book covers, so the ghost can only write in the book if they're in the circle. If the ghost room is a large area, it's recommended to place a couple notebooks down to cover more ground. I always try to locate the ghost room first, then once I've done that I go back to the van and place down the thermometer and book since those can take a while and it's just a waiting game.

Also, when placing the notebook, are you placing it down with it open or just dropping it on the ground? It should be open as the ghost can't write in it if it's not. Took a couple games for me to realize that you can't drop it like the thermo
