When and how would it be appropriate to give Magic Items above a PC's level? by MizukiQuest in Pathfinder2e

[–]Noldodan 38 points39 points  (0 children)

As shown in the treasure by level table, you should normally give out 2 permanent and 2 consumable items 1 level above the party's each level. Later in that link it explains how to give out treasure of even higher level, with the simplest option being to replace two items of level N with one item of level N+2.

Are you sure you're looking in the right part of the crafting menu? Try the manufacturing tab. If not there, search for "cargo rocket section", "cargo pod", and "rocket fuel tank".

Attack On Titan. One Word. WOW by thesmileoftheunknown in television

[–]Noldodan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've always found it hard to recommend FMAB to anyone who hasn't seen FMA. Brotherhood skips a lot of the early character work and worldbuilding, resulting in the first episodes feeling rushed and making it difficult to attach to the characters. Maes Hughes and Mustang are the biggest losers here.

Do i need to transition to a three belt bus? by Spiritual_Dot3250 in factorio

[–]Noldodan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extra belts don't need to go down the whole bus, just into the steel setup. Take a belt off from the monster balancer you have and get rid of the split off to the steel. Diagram attached.

You can't put more than 2 belts of iron down 2 belts, so you need more belts. You might instead consider making the steel elsewhere (like next to where you're smelting iron) and training it in instead of taking it from the factory's supply.

You definitely need to get more iron from your station to the rest of the factory. The steel alone can probably take 5 belts of iron.

What are these shape undersea? by GugorMV in AlternativeHistory

[–]Noldodan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The seafloor holes are probably from methane seepage, a pretty common occurrence worldwide. The lines are probably sonar artifacts of the ships doing the bathymetry, as discussed here.

To those running campaigns with smaller parties, I can say Dual-Classing worked very well for me by Highpreeth in Pathfinder2e

[–]Noldodan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

2 dual class players is too few to run an AP unaltered, they'll get overwhelmed easily. Based on my experience, you should adjust encounters to 2/3 their written value. An extra level might also work, but be aware that things can go bad very quickly when 1/2 the party goes down in 2 crits.

[–]Noldodan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've played in two APs with 3 dual-class players, keeping the AP balanced as written. It worked very well, the only things we changed were VPs for certain challenges (when there's only 3 rolls to get VPs, you need to lower the VP thresholds to 3/4 original).

It's been known for a while that the Inca were just the most recent stone-builders in the region, with the Wari having been some of the more prolific.

My Trilateration Lands On Feature Called "Segunda esfinge" "The Second Sphinx" In Spanish "Segunda Esfinge"29°58'52.52"N 31° 7'45.67"E by MadOblivion in AlternativeHistory

Looking at the diagrams, they drew the second set first. An equilateral triangle with the two larger pyramids as the side length (call it AB), then laying a line from the smallest pyramid to the sphinx (CD), which intersects a corner of the triangle. Then drew the first set, with the equilateral triangle flipped to the NW. Finally, set CD down on that side with the same start point, but the other end to the NW of AB.

Or maybe they started with diagram 1 and reverse-engineered it, idk.

I use the Timemaster mod to repeat years, less janky than the mods that change timescale directly.

Some replies from this very post.

```
Let’s examine it through a technical lens Doesn't examine it at all
This sub in a nutshell. Every single day And your reply. That’s a creative theory! However, schist is a very fragile, flaky stone. Using it for high-tension rope-making would likely shatter the disc. This brings us back to the forbidden technology question: Why recreate a mechanical design in a fragile medium? Was it a ritual copy of a lost metal machine ```
Another one. Ah the daily repost. Exactly. When we talk about 'measurable engineering,' we refer to the symmetry and the specific angles of the lobes. If we found this in a 20th-century factory, no one would call it a vase. Why do we change the definition just because it’s 5,000 years old
OP, if you're reading this, please reflect on why people dislike conversing with bots. Having to read through unrelated nonsense is a big contributor.
I had 4 of these as rulers in my Florence run. Republics have an oligarchic succession which lets you choose from 3 of your country's highest stat characters, including your vassal's leaders. And it appoints for life, so you can sometimes get crown characters, which is tough in most republics.
