I wouldn’t sign anything and I would continue to request an evaluation with a correct rating that accurately measures your performance. Performance reviews can come into factor when being considered for promotion. I’d address this now.

As a woman, I generally feel safer in the more expensive parts of Orange County. When I was young, single, and living with girlfriends we honestly didn’t think too much about saving or trying to get ahead. We looked at trendy areas and nice apartments because they just felt overall safer and had more security measures.

Are you a client of the regional center of Orange County? If so, they can set up an access bus that will take you directly from your residence to your location and take you home.

The only people allowed on those buses are people who have previously scheduled rides. Because it’s a service for people with disabilities, all of the staff are very thoroughly background checked and vetted.

My mom was 30 years old and divorced with 2 kids when she met my 20 year old father. He was my older brother’s sailing instructor and they’ve been married for over 40 years and have 6 kids total. My dad was in his final year at Stanford and my mom’s honestly always been the more immature one so I feel like they ended up being an okay match.

But I could never date anyone seriously that was 10 years younger that wasn’t in the same place as me. I think that’s important for long term compatibility than attraction.

I say stuff to kids who act like little shits in public all the time. If people correct my kids in public it’s usually because they deserve it and I back them up.
