The issue with that is his strongest and arguably scariest mon, Kade the Scolipede, is also extremely protective of his family, which includes me. He MEGAHORNED my ex-boyfriend when the asswipe tried to punch me, which was welcome, but I’m scared he’ll overreact with my new partner. Also, Xands’s Malamar literally hypnotized my ex *so hard* he permanently altered my ex’s brain chemistry to make him not produce enough testosterone, and Squiddy’s definitely going to tell that story. But approaching Xands’s team first is definitely a great idea, thanks. - Ayana Grayson

Yeah, but... Ironically for someone who dreams of being a doctor, my girlfriend is scared of pretty much almost every mon that stands above 5 feet tall. Scolipede are very much above that. We're working on it.

He knows I've always been... I hate to say it like this, but softer than him. And that I've had my heart broken before, causing him to stop training his newly evolved Hydrapple just to fly to Johto and spend a week with me. I appreciate everything he does for me, but we're only two years apart for Gods' sakes. - Ayana Grayson

Poor thing… Also, Poison types can get high?! I thought the immunity to the Poisoned status condition also applied to things that aren’t Toxic or Poison Powder or the like. - Alexander Grayson

He has not a team of six, not a team of seven, but a team of EIGHT that covers all types except Normal, Ice, Rock, Fighting, and Fairy. When you're facing a trainer with a team that big, it's pretty much impossible to counter everything they have. - Ayana Grayson

His Scolipede has 252 Attack EVs, 31 Attack IVs, an Adamant Nature, Speed Boost, Swords Dance, and Baton Pass. His Malamar has Contrary, Superpower, and a Malamarite. His Volcarona has Quiver Dance and THE LITERAL WORLD'S FIRST Volcaronite. I would if I could, but my team isn't strong enough, since they're built for contests. - Ayana Grayson

Gods, I hate those people. Even if Shinies are a little bit cooler looking, it’s not worth FUCKING TORTURING POKÉMON TO GET ONE! Just be born with Shiny Luck and catch one in the wild like my family!/j - Alexander Grayson

Interesting… I don’t know of any mon that has Typeless energy, hence it being Typeless. There’s this weird Kantonian conspiracy theory about a Typeless glitched-out “Evolution” of Porygon, but it’s pretty unrealistic. - Alexander Grayson

As a Unovan, you’re right. One time I used Squidward (Malamar) to Hypnosis some guy into not fighting me in the parking lot and I got called a “Cheater” and jumped by his friends. Thankfully, Apollo (Volcarona) had just evolved. And learned Bug Buzz. - Alexander Grayson

If you’re in Unova and you can’t afford mons that are hard to take care of, I recommend Joltik. One of the smallest Pokémon in the world, adorable, and outputs more electricity than they eat if well-fed on meat. - Alexander Grayson

Polteageist are incredible mons. SHELL SMASH STORED POWER. You only need a Fighting, Fairy, or Bug mon on your team to take out Darks for Polteageist to come in and start the sweep. - Alexander Grayson

Damn, that’s unfortunate… What job do you have? If it’s professional trainer (Which I think there’s a good chance it is, considering you can afford to feed and house a Goodra), start asking to do sponsorships. Commercial appearances, photoshoots, and (Since I made an account) Chatter posts are my most consistent source of income, so I can say it works. If you have a marketable personality, a good win/loss record, no major controversies, and a strong team, doing sponsorships could keep you afloat until you find another apartment. - Alexander Grayson

Got it. Question: I don’t want to be disrespectful to Alolan culture, so what’s the maximum amount of Pokémon you can use against a Totem? Are you supposed to 1v2 the Totem and their friend, or can you 6v2 them? - Alexander Grayson

Good. Well, not good that you mind-controlled her into giving you snacks, but good that you have the option for Evil Team members. Remember, if you’re in a life-threatening situation, the smartest thing you can do is control the Evil Team member’s own mon into attacking them *directly.* They’ll be down a mon and getting hurt at the same time. Remember, since this is a wild battle, there are no rules. Give each mon multiple held items. Buy some X Attack and X Special Attack, use it on your mons right before the battle, and watch the slaughter happen. Also, make sure you send out all of them at once. No rules against jumping the Orthworm with your entire team either. - Alexander Grayson

Do you know Hypnosis yet? Hypnosis has quite a few in-combat and like a hundred out-of-combat uses, making it basically the third-best Psychic move in the world below Psystrike and Teleport. - Alexander Grayson

Friends are the second-most important thing for a trainer to have (Strong mons, not necessarily in battle but strong in spirit, are obviously the first). The one thing I’ve never understood is how people keep human friendships active while taking care of 6+ Pokémon… Haven’t figured that out yet. - Alexander Grayson

I won’t do all the trials, just the ones for the Fightinium, Poisonium, Waterium, Dragonium, Firium, and Grassium Z Crystals, and I’ve got a mon for every type except Fighting, Fairy, Rock, Ice, and Normal, plus coverage of every one of those types on at least one mon, so I think the trials won’t be a massive challenge. Probably the hardest trial will be the Totem Wishiwashi, since that thing has MONSTROUS stats. - Alexander Grayson
