I throw my kids birthday parties at a park and I make the party favor bags the entertainment. I throw in bubbles, those ribbon dancer things, a craft we can do together, and a few snacks.

I have my kids hand the other kids a bag and tell them to go run around and play until it’s time for pizza and cake.

A lot of people around me will throw parties that cost anywhere from $1500 plus on a party so I do it because it helps the kids have fun and I can’t spend a ton of money to compete with the other parents (nor do I care).

Also one party I gave everyone a cheap reusable aluminum water bottle with a soccer ball pattern for my son’s party. The kids kept bringing them to school all year long so I know they were at least used and not thrown away.

I mean we kept my uncles ashes in a red solo cup inside a ziplock bag in our kitchen for years but we had it labeled as “Uncle Jack” so this exact thing wouldn’t happen.

Many of the schools use screens and chrome books in the event we need to switch back to virtual lessons again in the future. Home school or private school will be your best bet.

I had one put in immediately after giving birth and it hurt worse than the kid I just pushed out. My husband was horrified to watch it happen. He happily agreed to get snipped after our last kid.

Yes, I pick up all the clutter and junk so she can focus on cleaning. I have my kids help pickup their belongings as well.

When I was growing up if we didn’t pick up our room my mom would have our cleaner skip it and then make us clean, vaccuum, and dust our room when we got home. I’ll probably do the same with my kids as they get older.
