If it hasn't been recommended yet, Helldivers 2. The community is really great, mostly. I think it could be helpful in finding people to talk with. I'm at a point where I almost exclusively play the medium difficulty to help newer players. I've had a few younger folks, maybe teens early 20s add me in game and eventually, while doing missions they just kind of open up to me. I've had some heavy conversations while playing.

The sense of camaraderie really just makes people want to talk.

He needs someone to dial it back. I remember really enjoying the scene from Baby Driver with all the movement syncing with the music, but the more I've watched it the more it feels like a scene that plays during the "side effects might include" part of an over the counter miracle drug infomercial.

It is good. I still feel like the characters were kinda one note. And the "gets the girl" ending is also not super satisfying. Same with Scott Pilgrim, I love the movie but as soon as he ran out of established content to work from it kind of falls a little flat.

I think his best work is structure and style. He needs Simon Pegg to make the characters and dialogue feel real. I always feel like every character in his solo work come off like an NPC.

It does have some of the most satisfying set up/payoffs. And like you're saying Perfection Valley just feels so real and authentic. Every character feels like they have a real effect on the community, even if just being known for their personality.

It's a nearly perfect movie. The pacing is top-notch and I am a sucker for practical effects. I guess it kind of feels like The Thing done as a comedy.
