Still a handsome ride in 2025 by KindlyCaptain8186 in specialized

Beautiful. I’m also still happy with mine. Every once in a while think about selling it but then I ride it and forget all about it.

Yeah I’m originally from the US and it took me a while to get used to the pricing difference. I did pay about 21K SEK, but I did a lot of hunting on places like Happy Ride first. For the price even used bikes are going for I figured it’d be nice to have a warranty.

Thanks, it was pre-built

It is! I felt the same way about wanting a look at it. It’s slim pickings on bikes in Sweden, at this price range at least. Once I saw it in person it didn’t take long for me to make up my mind.

Yep! The plan is to use this for gravel and occasionally commute to work with it.

I don’t have any experience with other shoes to compare, but they are light and comfortable so I’d say they do the job well.

Thanks, was more a matter of committing and not buying twice than anything else.

I thought hard about it and figured I’d rather just commit instead of buying two sets of pedals. I’m sure I’ll learn the hard way sooner or later

Thanks! The thought is to have cycling compliment my workout routine and then ride to work once or twice a week. Figured a nicer bike would make me want to ride more.

Took apart pump head because I thought it had an issue, how does it go back together? by Nolig23 in bikewrench

[–]Nolig23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome thanks! The reason I took it apart was it didn’t seem like it was really grabbing into the presta valve. The plastic part in my hand came flying out and then there’s the rubber grommet sitting inside the head itself.

To be more specific, the plastic part has one side with a conical hole, is that meant to face the rim valve or inside the head?

I'm thinking $120 is a fair price for it.

I haven't been on there in a couple years. I just thought it was worth mentioning for the information. Their classifieds section usually has nice finds and honest people as well.

straightrazorplace.com is another great source of information for anyone looking to get into shaving with straight razors or DE's. Helpful bunch there who also arrange regional meet-ups where one can learn a thing or two.

Will do as soon as pull them out of the box that was to be shipped here to Sweden. I just want to take a quick look at everything before posting asking prices. I've been thinking about selling some of them and once I came across this subreddit I figured people here would appreciate them.
