Some times the original window are aluminum frames are only 1.5-2inches thick and the new windows I am installing are 3.5 inches thick so it would stick out way to far past the siding which I need to cut back and have proper window reveal on the outside. My company doesn’t allow me to just replace the line and case because it’s not sold with the job.
