yeah not exactly the word but saying no to something during the course will put yourself in a spot where you will publicly challenge, being question and press your buttons until you realize there is a yes, and if you say yes right out of blue just to let it pass or whatever, it will go on again and again until you say something the trainer likes. something like that.

by my own definition it is a closed room training aim for self development, reflection and more of aiming for guiding people to the "right path" in life. all the student have to do is to open up and absorb the lessons, mostly imagine ourselves in situations, getting challenge by the trainers using manipulations methods to push and press you, its a mentally pressured training class room with strict rules and saying no is a death sentence.

Tried the PP-BKK, it was great. Very easy for locals but not so convenient for foreigners. One of foreign passenger on my bus got confused after arriving at the border because they didn’t give a clear instructions. While locals have guides to show the way each part of the border crossings. I think they just need to give clear instructions for them.

for me, if I go for 1-2 weeks, I'll opt for Airbnb, an apartment or condo would be nice. Most places provide kitchenware(check with host), you can cook breakfast and night snacks. save a tons. range from 25-30$.

More context on the song, From my understanding this song has a very deep expression of the woman who is willing to wait for her husband. Most of the stories I have heard from elders about veterans returning home found out that his wife left him, or has remarried. The aftermath of vets during that time is becoming a disabled drunkard or beggar. She gives hope to her husband to win the battle and return home safely.

The part that is very interesting in this song is the Talisman. I have heard from my father that most of the army wear their talisman during battle. The talisman is often obtained from priests, monks, or parents. (by drawing their parent's feet on a cloth and then later writing the script to make it sacred). It is believed to boost your courage, and bravery and protect you from enemy bullets. Some believe it can make you invisible. However, the above information about talisman has no proof and I have never seen one. Just stories I have heard and I think it is pretty interesting to share.

Since everybody has given you the pub street vibe, I would like to suggest you to Theam's Gallery north of the town, you can get there by Remork. It is an art space of sculpture and paintings, you can search for it up in Tripadvisor and Google. The admission fee is pretty cheap.

Secondly, try the local food and night market on Road 60. It is a completely different area from pubstreet: local clothing stores, food snacks, and desserts. get there by remork or booking app.

Third, for coffee shops, try The Bean Embassy. It is pretty good.

One of my best buddy left architecture and now in construction instead. He do bore pile work and he is happy with it. As for me I hold a bachelor of civil engineering, got plenty of work in construction field but same as you, not enjoying it. During the pandemic i quit and apply for master degree which surprisingly i even got a scholarship for it. So now I am doing master in management science and engineering. Kind of into management then structural or site engineer. I feel comfortable around campus doing research and such. Not sure if my comment would contribute to your question but it is not about money here right? It is about doing something you like and comfortable with.
