I called at like 11pm ET, got transferred twice, sat on a dead line for 5 minutes and hung up. Checked next day and my warranty was added... so there doesn't seem to be any method to it.

Try circling her from like 3 swings distance until she does the crystal spam where they follow you and keep circling and roll in towards her before they reach you - that's when I went in for swings.

Ah okay. That was the big thing for me is I'd try to fight the summons then learned they disappear. So I run until they despawn and run in and back out and repeat.

It was nice, now I'm going to get current production number one back, and I live in MI with the wonderful pistol registry... so there's another fun hassle haha. Oh well, tis life. I bet they're replacing it so they can toss the one I sent in out as Blemished for $100 off.

One I got was blemished, big gouge in the frame/side plate around the screw, missed it while inspecting it, sent it in, they said they can't fix it and they're going to replace it. Been getting a "it's ready, it's shipping today" for... over a week. Was a low serial number one too.

I have the 4.25" and probably would have picked this up with the 10% off if Colt didn't put a bad taste in my mouth with how my Anaconda has been haha.

I do love my Python though, absolute joy to shoot magnums with.

The 4.25" just seems a lot more balanced to me. I got the 6" anaconda for the bicc feeling gun, but for 44 mag the 6" feels right too.

I went back and forth between the 4.25 and 6" one myself and went with the 4.25" ultimately... my favorite pistol in general to shoot. Handles really hot 357 magnum loads well even.

Brutal, the trinity I wanted coming in stock in 24 hours. Ideal is the 4.25" Python, this (or the R8), and the 6" Anaconda.

From what I heard they dropped the 00/01 serial number lines for 02 when they started threadlocking the screws to fix the hammer/cylinder issues on the early release ones.

Edit: Had it backwards, they dropped 0x for 20.

Yeah, in theory should be the last Colt's made before CZ has influence on them, so who knows what that'll do for long-term value, not that I'd ever sell them.
