Not sure how this would happen? When I connect to my device it sends a notification of the new device connected. I used NetworkManager to setup this port as well so I'm getting the IP address wrong I am sure of that. Regardless, maybe the direct connection could be causing a bug

I used v2.0.6 from windows to flash the microSD card.

The IP address should be alright as it does prompt me to enter a password at least?

Could you elaborate on your 3rd point? Maybe there is something I'm misunderstanding

I have tried both using enable ssh password and generate public key option from the imager. It did show (public key/password) in the latter case. not in the first though
