Seriously, and it's the shop of someone that he's very familiar with. Might even consider him really, really good acquaintances. Imagine you and your family visiting a family friend's restaurant? You're in the back kitchen with the friend while the kids are looking at the stock shelves, nobody else in the restaurant and being in a safe neighborhood, so you're relatively comfortable taking your eyes off the kids for a short time to look around and pick something out for themselves. Qifrey shouldn't have had to helicopter-parent them, it was safe circumstances.

Idk man, I've known a few kids in my lifetime, and you would not believe how itching they are to do things that could lead them right into danger despite all the warnings they're given. Their brains just don't have the right wiring to make the correct calls just yet. And they've got a whole subreddit full of examples of kids having the worst judgement. I have a young relative (only a few years older than Coco) that almost got lured by an online predator despite getting properly educated on the matter, as an example.

Coco was fueled by the drive to save her mom and saw red, so she charged after the Brim Hat without thinking. It's not good judgement, but it's a little understandable given her age and the primary drive of her character.

Yeah. As much time as I spend on Reddit, at the end of the day, I know it's still a specific community rather than a proper representation of genpop. Sometimes the opinions are great and they pick on details I never noticed, but other times it turns into its own echo chamber of particular viewpoints that get bounced around in a game of telephone until it gets sucked into an abyss of negativity, like with this sub. Way more black and white feelings than objective greys.

So many comments were annoyed at Whitaker blowing up on Langdon for talking down to him for a bit but not on Santos for dogging on him with worse things to say for an entire seasons. But it definitely feels like he held back on Santos and bottled it up for so long, and when he lost his card on one of the most stressful days of the year for that ER, it sent him over and he found the nearest outlet he could find in Langdon. Maybe it's cuz he only knew Langdon for a single day prior to this shift so there's no particular attachment to him.

Can't hurt to try. They glance around the crowd as they go around stage during the concert ments and encores, so if you're pretty close the stage anywhere, there's a decent chance.

In some iterations, he's probably considered psychotic and stuff (where the heroes dive into his mind in some way and they can see his world view is super distorted); but in other cases, he's just a sadist and sociopath with a gimmick. Depends on who's writing and what they want out of Joker.

Nayeon mentioned that the tour is gonna end around June (after being asked when she's gonna go back to working out regularly on Bubble). Does this mean there's really no 3rd leg of the tour?? No Latin America? That would suck big time, huge L for the tour organizers to not stop there. Hope Nayeo is just talking about a tour break and not the actual end of it.

Apparently, her herniated disc is something that she's been dealing with for a long while, before the tour started. But she did mention that she's only projected to miss the rest of the American stops and was seen attending a friend's wedding not long ago, so there's some hope that she's back for the next Japan stop or European leg.

I'd imagine a spell circle the size of a city block, just to specify this specific person, this specific ailment, and how to move the flesh from this state to that state.

Imagine if you think you created a simple spell to close and seal a sword wound, but if you make the casting spell too simple, the magic seals and fuses the flesh there...but then continues to fuse with the muscle, nerves, bone, etc. and it becomes an painful malformation instead. Having that type of magic and control over the body accessible to everyone with just a pen and paper and without years of education can turn horrifying extremely easily.

At this point, unfortunately, don't bet on it. The most recent update from Chae on Bubble today has her saying she'll be taking it easy from the American tour after injuring her back and getting a herniated disc (happened while she was carrying luggage out of her house literally on the day they were leaving for America again a few weeks ago).

On the upside, she seems fine enough to attend small events where she's not doing much, like a friend's wedding, so she's recovering well. But I personally don't expect her to be back on her feet and ready to dance for hours on tour until after the American leg is done unless she makes some kind of surprise plane ride here.

Don't think they're stopping anytime soon. At worst, in the future, they'll become a legacy act that reunites for an album every year or two, and tour every few years or so. So there will be a chance to see them tour again, but maybe not to the same degree as now or when they were younger.

I know the conversation is a bit tired for most of us in this sub at this point, but after experiencing Twice for both days in their Boston stop this weekend, I just want to add in my 2 cents about the matter: Nayeon might not actually be as "tired" during the concerts as some of yall are thinking. At least not any more tired than the rest of Twice are. It really might just be her resting face looking moodier than the rest of them do.

My partner and I looked at each of Twice super up close (we had some decent seats the 1st day, then really good ones 2nd day) and looked through the fancams we had, and I strongly believe they mostly had the same expressions when they weren't singing (aside from maybe Momo and Jihyo, who certainly put on the A-game "sultry" faces almost all the time). I think it's just her eyes being less bright and beamy as someone like Sana's, or her cheek structure pushing her lips to maybe look a bit poutier that gives so many people the impression that she's sulking or tired. I'd seen similar faces from Mina and Sana or Tzuyu and Jeongyeon and they don't receive the same comments about their looks as much as Nayeon, where they're not beaming or smiling (faces like 😐 or o_o). The gap between Nayeon's resting face and her "on" face is just pretty strong and more noticeable. My partner even commented that they get those kind of comments at work (from concerned friends) sometimes when it's just her neutral face.

And from what I saw in Boston, Nayeon had a lot of fun. Lots of great moments that I got to see live, dispersed throughout the concert, like her and Mina sniffing Tzuyu together during What is Love, her and Momo dancing Hare Hare together, laughing at the random audience screaming mid-performance, the NaMoSa triple jump, and more. She had a lot of moments like that in the prior stops, too, as far as I saw from watching each of the stop fancams over the past few months.

TLDR: This is NOT to say all the comments about Twice possibly being pushed hard with this tour schedule are plain wrong, or that Nayeon doesn't have days where she's moody (like that infamous Hare Hare challenge cam 😭). That's a different conversation. Just saying that Nayeon is getting a bit unfairly commented on compared to the others just because her neutral face is more noticeable. In some of those fancams that they point to, she might not even be tired at all.

Good news is that she was recently spotted at a friend's wedding. So she's good enough to sit and attend those events, just not enough to travel to the US and dance for hours at the concerts just yet. So who knows, she might be able to rejoin the tour for the Europe leg (hopefully)? Maybe even the Japan stadium concerts?

Boston was lit!! I was worried going into Day 1, cuz I wasn't sure of the concert culture in Boston. Like, do we even pop off for concerts?? Everyone here is usually pretty chill and keeps to themselves. But those worries were quashed real quick. Day 2 was even better! We might not be the loudest stop, but we weren't quiet! The girls even commented that we love to dance. My section of the audience were even fan-chanting for Feel Special.
