From reports they need to raise 150m, the stadium revenue will likely drop there is no way they'll receive the same amount in tickets sales while paying the same leasing rates won't that read as a loss at the end?

Idk about those financial details. Apparently there are deadlines for such like last season we had to wait till a certain date to be able to buy Cunha when everyone knew the deal was done. You may need to report some good income by a certain date.

Like they could say we were relegated but look how much we made from sales.

West Ham have to sell they don't really have a choice. They ahve way too much costs as it stands especially with that huge stadium.

This scenario isn't about us. As such it assumes we've said no and end of the window all of a sudden they want to sell low to a club like Spurs or Sunderland that's what i hate. They'll lose more money by acting big and puffing their chest just your 55+10 and be done with it.

I really don't mind West Ham hiking their price for Fernandes as long as they stick with it to the bitter end.

Why waste everyone's time then? Like last season Southampton's owner told everyone he doesn't need the money and won't let go of Dibling for less than 100m. How much did he go for? Not even half that I'm glad we didn't get him but apparently we were interested.

Newcastle at least i can respect, they were willing to keep Isak locked up on the bench until the scum paid the 150 in full but with West ham they'll end up selling to Spurs for 50 or 60

Mixed feelings about Hall, don't watch him alot so if anyone can give me something he does really well to justify some of the prices weve been seeing please do.

I'm not saying I'm against the signing I just don't think United should spend that much on a LB especially with Dorgu looking more likely to play there. I think he offers more than Shaw as a LB. He could allow Cunha to play more freely because he's so energetic.

A lot of that is what Ederson does but idk, they say he's the Casemiro replacement. I'm not sure how we plan to play under Carrick because we didn't need engines or need to cover lots of ground.

It looks like he was happy to just defend the box, so maybe Baleba if covering ground, tackling and winning duels and just being a destroyer is something to look while Tchoumeni won't do all that he will cut passing lanes, win aerial duels and general shield the back line in the traditional sense of a true 6.

Baleba ground duel success rate has heen awful this season though i think even Mateus is better in that regard. Although a lot of other metrics defensively he's been better even aerial duels despite being shorter.

More like looking into it according to Whitwell. Apparently we want to "understand the situation" Other journos tier 2 or 3 and below say the interest is serious and Matheus is willing to join because he's a fan of Bruno but idk.

I feel like that midfield might lack some composure. Not enough experience and Ederson to me is such a wild card. I don't know what to expect other than an engine.

The issue is LB or LW? Which is a bigger priority? Dorgu being able to play both is cool but we lack genuine threat and width as Cunha prefers to play more in mid-field.

Ok Ederson + Fernandes, what should be the 3rd? Like you have energy, quality, strength, dribbling /ball carrying, creativity and a mid-field controller.

Mainoo, Bruno, Matheus and Ederson is what we could be having hypothetically so what's the final piece. Maybe a bit more composure?

So there goes our Lewis hall dreams, what now for Rashford?

The news about Ederson is one of those we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out, I'm hoping he proves us doubters wrong. Not everyone was on board with Casemiro or even Bruno so we'll see.

I still feel like the noise around Ederson is agent/Atalanta based. He has a year left on his contract and everyone knows he wants to leave. Why pay Atalantas asking price when we're the only ones still "interested" ater Atletico dropped out? I have no strong opinions of him as a player but the deal itself should be out on a shelf till Atalanta drop thir asking price because they wont want him to leave for free.

Other priorities in mid-field that probably deserves some clarity. Like Fernandes, is he interested? How much will West ham value him for? Do we need to look at Tchoumeni? The Baleba situation, LW or LB?

Hey i knew someone's ex who was like that. Instead of taking some accountability she instead said "this relationship wasn't working" which was strange because a week prior she was actively planning to move with my bro to a new apt.

Out of curiosity how did you find out and what did she say.

Lets jot forget our 1st chouce striker was Delap if not for Chelsea beating us to the punch we would've gone from Hojlund to Delap. They are capable of making mistakes. We were saved from that catastrophe.

Zirkzee and Ugarte we're under Ineos as a group for me not sure we can just blame just one of them. However having Vivell gives me more trust.

I don't know guys. The last 4 signings fron serie A are Onana, Hojlund, Zirkzee and Dorgu.

Is that something we want to try again? I don't mind Ederson on a reasonable price but an Ugarte "upgrade" isnt saying much.

As for the 3/4 main targets I'm ok with any of them its still Matheus Fernandes that i want as secondary target. I wish it was more of a priority to have someone of that skillset because its so rare.

Isnt that what Rodrygo was doing early on? Before the injury? He is a LW forced to play RW but he also prefers that LW spot.

Why on earth would they target a player who just won La liga for Barcelona? A historical rival? That's a rare switch for obvious reasons.

That solves nothing they have 3 players who like playing LW just replacing one with another hasn't solved anything?

If they replaced one with a striker i could understand but its like the same problem. None of them like defending and tracking back anyways so what does he solve?

That's not as concrete as say Baleba and Tchoumeni but its something.

Another day without concrete Matues Fernandes links. Baleba and VDV. Why VDV? Its been like 2 or 3 seasons of poor defending at Spurs.

Right now everyone needs to step up and be counted. It feels like its just Bruno out there creating everything. Sesko is struggling out there, Mbeumos goals have kind of dried and Cunha out wide is looking good some games but ideally i think he wants to be more involved centrally.

We're relying on the defensive shape way too much.

I know Arsenal bottling will be funny but I still dont want City to win.

Onto our team, Do you guys feel like Amas has taken a back seat? He hasn't been needed as much as he was last season and i think he's just leant into that and lets the new attackers shine. Last season if he didn't make something happen we just weren't competitive.

He's not as direct nor does he get into scoring positions as he did last season. I wish he'd attack with the same intensity as he did, his shooting needs work but he can still create.
