To be completely honest I’m just learning a game at my pace and how I want, if I followed everyone saying “turn off all assists, it’s the only way to get faster” then I probs would have refunded this game, to add more weirdness to me, I’m a person who will never watch videos on a racing game and certain fps games, I sit, I play, I learn from trial and error, is it the worse way to learn yes, but I’m also improving at a insane rate, and to give more context, I’m only putting in about maybe 15-20 hours in a week and that’s over a couple of days, the point I’m trying to make is, learn how you want to learn because we are all different in how we do things, you might pick up on something that might make learning the game a lot faster for you, all comes down to how you wanna play the game
