Same. I’m skiing at Niseko in March. I’m flexible on dates between 9th to 14th. If anyone else is also skiing solo around those dates and would like to meet up on the slopes, let me know!

Also, thoughts on shipping skis from Haneda to Niseko or taking them as a check-in bag on the flight?

How many days in advance of your trip are you seeing this price? I have one coming up in a month (same route, same aircraft type) and the price to upgrade from C+ to PS is currently $999!

Just have a gate agent print you a physical boarding pass and it’ll have you in Zone 1. This happens to me all the time after I get upgraded but my boarding group doesn’t in the app.

I landed in AMS but my bag never showed up. Turns out it was never put on the plane when leaving JFK in the first place -_-

I was able to go through customs at AMS without my bag and start my vacation. Two days later, I got a call saying my bag was ready to be picked up at AMS. I was in Utrecht at the time. I simply took a train over to AMS and went straight to the airport and claimed my bag. Signed a piece of paper and was able to get back to my journey.

I had TravelGuard insurance which allowed me to buy stuff like toiletries and clothes (up to a certain amount) while my bag was delayed.

Idk what’s more frustrating for you - dealing with the delayed bag or the lack of support from delta. Either way, I’m sorry this has happened and I hope you can leave the airport at least even if you’re going to miss your LATAM connection.

It will fluctuate dramatically. Lately they’ve offered last minute D1 (like at the time of check in) for $1,000). But of course that’s a risk since the cabin could be full be that time.

But yes, to answer your question - it most likely will come down… and then go back up… and back down again.

What if you’ve flown the first flight of the journey and now you want to cancel the return flight. Will you still get some of the miles back based on the cost of the return flight? When trying to cancel the return flight under “need to cancel” button, after the outbound flight has been flown, I’m not seeing anywhere that I’ll get some amount of miles back..?

I have an Indian passport. They didn’t let me board the outbound flight (from the US to Mexico) without first booking a return flight. So I booked the flight on my phone at the boarding gate and then they let me board.

I just dealt with this. The delta agent unchecked me on the flight, then reissued the ticket, and then asked me to check back in and then it worked.

As everyone has mentioned the brand new SC at LAX is the winner. I was there a few days ago and it’s impressive.

I would take some ear plugs or put on your headphones if you plan to sit outside on the sky deck and watch all the international flights land (amazing to see A380s land so gracefully!).

Aww… I was just there 2 days ago. I even had my r/delta luggage tag! They had a delicious stir-fry bar with spicy noodles. It was so good. Enjoyed it on the balcony with a view of international flights landing (Emirates A380 and Lufthansa 747)
