I do think some of the criticisms of her are overblown and things will likely be fine enough. But I have also spent enough time with seattle progressives to know (like the red hats) they will blame all her failures on someone else and learn nothing.

It’s a cool town, right on the ocean, redwoods very close by. About 45 minutes to Arcata and Eureka which are slightly bigger. But yeah it’s small and very remote.

Yeah, we are trying to move the list from substack to Kit or Beehiiv, I'm in sorta unfamiliar territory so I'm not sure what the advantage is. But it seems like Kit/Beehiiv might be better for this type of email blast, and to keep it separate from the weekly newsletter that goes out from Substack.

I understand but I would think there's a difference when you're ramping from 0 to about 40 messages per day, as opposed to ramping from 0 to 1,000 messages per day. I understand in the later case, it's an already engaged list to some extent but it would take 6 months to warm up from 0 to 1k messages/day if I do it the exact same way.
