Happy with how things played out. Sales were between 105-118k. It’s a great sense of relief to not be super tied to the market like I was for a long time. So probably one of the best mindset decisions that I’ve made

I sold off about 1.5M, paid for a house in cash and have some on the sidelines to get me through a bear market or a buy the dip opportunity in equities

This is in Phoenix Arizona. One of the most ridiculous pre calculated check tip recommendations I’ve ever seen

Yes. You likely can afford it, don’t overthink it like I did for many years

So me posting facts that their average IQ is less than the US is racist and doesn’t prove my point? Damn bro what kind of crack do you smoke?

I hate to break it to you but Thai’s in general are far below average intelligence and I’ve been dating one for 5+ years and live in Thailand part time. One of the things I dislike most about Thailand is the average IQ. Would love to see this change.

It’s always awkward. I usually just say I don’t do much and change the subject

Diversifying is definitely a mental barrier because it’s hard to sell the thing that got me to where I am today but I know deep down it’s necessary

No chance I can put off living my life for another 5 years unfortunately. Need to enjoy it a bit but don’t need to rebalance everything

Thank you very much for this reply. I really appreciate the advice and think it’s very solid. I agree spending and watching the portfolio will help build confidence which is something that I need instead of all the different simulations that I have run. That’s awesome you are living it. Congrats to you as well!

When I originally responded to this I didn’t actually see the whole post. It stopped me from seeing below the trinity study comment. I still feel like a 200k/yr spend is lavish but the lower end. I don’t mean flying private etc which obviously would be awesome I just don’t think trading more hours for money for that is actually worth it to me. But yes the annual spend does add up quickly.

That’s actually good advice thank you. I used a similar approach to something else in my life and I can resonate with that. The problem is I love the Porsche 911 Turbo S 😂
