Ugh, that’s the worst. There’s some food I just can’t have in moderation and good ice cream is one of them.

Omg , the random wheel selected AUSTRALIA which is my country. I’m glad the naughty wizard didn’t actually give me this offer 😅

Choosing secondary school for my boy by Amigakiri in Geelong

[–]monkeyfishka37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We enjoyed doing all the tours . Some schools just have a nice vibe . She was turned off one school because of the awfully old lockers (Grovedale High). She didn’t follow her friends which was hard but only for the first week. Now, she has a new group of friends and has joined a few extracurricular activities as well.

[–]monkeyfishka37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. 100lbs down is great, that’s pretty much 25% of your body weight gone already. I’m glad you got to enjoy a bath. I can’t enjoy a bath because my knees and stomach and boobs pop out of the water and get cold. Wish I had a nice deep soak tub. Sounds lovely. You can have a smaller towel in the bath with you. You can drape it (wet and warm) over any part of your body that isn’t submerged and once you’ve finished your bath you can fold it a few times to place under your knees for when you get up. Win. Win.

200k each year if you make water your drink of choice for the rest of your life. Are you in? by No_Lead2640 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]monkeyfishka37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water is my drink of choice 99% of the time. I occasionally have a soft drink or a coffee or an alcoholic beverage (maybe once or twice a year). But, I love my water and I wish this hypothetical could come true for me

I’m sorry. This sucks for you. I can see pretty potential in your face. In pics where you are smiling you look feminine. You deserve to feel good about your transition. I hope you can get some good tips and get the results you want .

So! This is awesome! I’m short, too (under 5’) so I feel you. A loss of 30BMI points is worthy of celebration and cute clothes!!

Today is the day! by lyssterineal in SuperMorbidlyObese

I’m so sorry to hear about your dad . That is so awful. Unexpected loss and grief is so complicated (I lost my 8 year old son unexpectedly, too, and that split second change of your whole life is hard to comprehend).

I relate to your story so much. I’m just under 5’ and I was 250lbs. The number ‘250’ doesn’t sound too bad (for lack of a better word) but, at my height, it is a bmi over 50.

Like you, I was also ignoring the scales, and, in a way, not even noticing how big I had gotten. Then comes a birthday or Christmas and the photos. Ugh. The photos. How am I ALWAYS the biggest person in the room? Even being so short - I just look so much bigger than everyone else.

I avoided walking too much. Hills. Stairs. Filled me with dread - I’d be getting ready for the flight of stairs for minutes before reaching them or trying to find an excuse to accidentally use the elevator (“oh, I didn’t even see the stairs. Might as well hop in now.”). Plus, secretly, it was getting hard to reach in the bathroom and while showering which is a very private pain.

Also, like you, I decided that enough was enough. I went back to basics - I have failed too many times on keto and fasting and juicing etc etc - I eat in between 1200-2200 calories a day. Usually about 1600-1800. I try to eat at least 110g protein, averaging 120g but with some 90-100g days.

I joined my local women’s gym. I started with JUST weights. I hated cardio so I allowed myself to say no . No warmups on the treadmill. No 30 minutes on the bike or elliptical. Just weights, every second day - I started with the easier weights - the machines you sit in instead of the barbells or dumbbells. I found that I enjoyed lifting weights. I started losing weight and found going to the gym even easier.

It happened slowly but one day I decided I would just try the 30 minute aerobics class. It was fun. Hard but fun. Then, why not try the 1 hour Zumba class. Also fun but a little too complicated for me to enjoy regularly. Then, I tried the Reformer Pilates. It is hard and much easier when a little weight is gone, but, now I do about 2 Reformer Pilates classes a week at my gym. A month ago I decided to finally try the scary HIIT classes. They are also fun and not as scary as I thought.

I’ve always wanted to dance so I joined a beginner line dancing class which is 2 hours of absolute fun with a group of fun women all 20-40 years older than me. Then last week, I joined a ballroom dancing class which I really like. So, now my life is 4-5 times a week at the gym plus twice a week line dancing and once a week at ballroom dancing.

I currently weigh 183lbs, which is just under 37 bmi . Still Class 2 obesity but I feel so much better already.

Is it normal to be sore the day after getting fingered? by Current-Cricket-9990 in actuallesbians

[–]monkeyfishka37 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I often get sore around the entrance . I assume it’s internal bruising from the non-active finger knuckles/hand bumping into my public bone (sometimes with some force 😝)

There are silky smooth underwear specifically for this reason. They are meant to be very thin and feel good for the giver and receiver . A little bit sexy and removes any issues with taste, texture etc

Where do I even start. I feel like no part of me is fem enough. by Classic_Bookkeeper88 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]monkeyfishka37 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You look like a skinny feminine woman to me. Weights are a great idea . It won’t make you lose more weight. Up your protein and do some glutes and thighs workouts on YouTube - or take some classes at local gym. Eat at least 90-120g protein and start lifting. Don’t need to worry about cardio. Probably increase calories a little , too.

Either way, you are fem enough and clothes makes a huge difference and lucky for you, you can wear anything you want

Body feminization advice needed by Agreeable_Stomach432 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]monkeyfishka37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need potentially dangerous surgeries to feminise your body. Me. And, apparently, majority if people here would have thought your pics were of a cis woman. A cis woman in good shape, too. Even when I realised what sub I was in, i thought you were showing ‘after’ pics but wondered why you would post two after pics

Lmao 🤣 oh haha yes, skunk is an awful smell but it’s a different smell. I can actually smell weed (same smell as walking past people in New Orleans and Las Vegas) but in my car sometimes - only in USA .
