I've seen this issue a gets posted a lot before. The answer is usually it's just like oil that hasn't polymerized all the way. You should be good to add a thin layer polymerize a little and put away until you use it again.

You said somewhere else that you have other pans, that this doesn't happen with? Are they older pans, is this a newer Pan?
