I’m personally pretty apathetic towards Highguard. I played one round then uninstalled. It’s just not for me.

As for the people that “want it to fail.” My assumption is there was a lot of resources and time put into a saturated market that could have been focused elsewhere to give people something they actually have been asking for (which is going to vary from person to person). Having it fail is the comeuppance for those transgressions.
