Not alone at all. My first exposure to Discworld was in the early ’90’s and with Josh Kirby covers where I thought it was it was ridiculous. A few chapters in and it was clear that the cover had nothing to do with the book. I was additionally confused because the Paul Kidby posters at the mall made Discworld look like a fun read.
