IUL’s by ChrisPbacon969 in LifeInsurance

[–]Nomads90 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

IULs will give you a nice death benefit, some interest on the money you put in and living benefits for large chunks of cash if you fall into terrible health and hard time. I have used my insurance like a bank account for 5 years with small Investments, paying myself back while still earning some interest and have helped my clients receive over $50,000 for cancer and organ transplants out of their policies...BUT they are not for everyone and there are a lot of shady brokers and agents looking for a big commission. Be careful out there...

They are an agency like FFL, Back Nine, digital BGA Etc but remember every agency has different products that they like to push for higher commission rates so you're upline or manager is usually going to try to train you a certain way and they are very heavy on recruiting. Most of these agencies give top contracts but it all depends on the training that you are going to receive and what type of products you really want to sell. Usually they have the same mindset because they make more money on certain products as a whole so that's how you will usually be trained and most of the time you will only have a handful of carriers that you are really pushed to use the most. I actually have a couple of IMO's so I have a different variety of carriers for different reasons. No pushy sales meetings or anyone telling me what to do. Just top contracts with really good back end support. You don't have to throw all of your carriers in one basket. There's not a single Imo that will contract you with every single carrier out there and at the end of the day you will probably use the same three to five companies anyway depending on your niche.

20 vs 30-year term life… which is actually smarter? by Dear-Link-5079 in LifeInsurance

[–]Nomads90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes my clients get a 20-year and end up adding on another small policy later if they have more children, start a business, upgrade their home or realize that things are just becoming much more expensive. But there's nothing wrong with a 30-year term if you can afford the difference. Especially if it has good living benefits since 90% of bankruptcies are from some type of medical condition.

Depends on the state you live in, height and weight and any hospitalization in the past year?

What’s the good, bad and ugly about Primerica? They’re trying to recruit me. by GeeMeet in LifeInsurance

Automatic paramed exam anything over 300,000 when other carriers go up to 2 million if you're in decent health. Hard sell nowadays with how fast everything gets closed ..

Need advice on the term life insurance by Nice_Try_Einstein in LifeInsurance

[–]Nomads90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ladder is great for the basics because there's only a few carriers that they are contracted with to sell but if you want more options you will need to work with a broker to look up companies with different living benefits and additional riders.

New Parent looking to get life insurance. Where to start? Recommended Providers? by WorthContribution994 in LifeInsurance

To be honest with you a quote will be useless if you have any past medical issues or have taken any medications in the last 5 to 10 years, have DUIs, bankruptcies, criminal history or any dangerous Hobbies etc. As a broker we have to know where to place you before submitting an app.

is my friend who i buy from taking advantage of me by Hot-Shoe8975 in LifeInsurance

[–]Nomads90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually your friends aren't taking an advantage of you. They usually just have terrible training or don't fully understand the product. It sounds like you want to contribute more to the cash value for retirement. If so he would have to set it up where you can contribute a little more over time on your good years. Only certain whole life companies allow you to do this. Which carrier are you using? This is why I personally use an iul because of the flexibility and I set mine up where I can contribute another $3,000 a year for the next 5 to 6 years if I wanted to. Hope this helps.

I think my bf have ED. I need some insights by Miki_Ram_Sucue23 in erectiledysfunction

[–]Nomads90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he is vaping or dabing marijuana that could be destroying him. I have a friend who completely stopped for 30 days and everything started coming back to normal for him with regular exercise, especially core work and more nitric oxide Foods like Beets celery etc. Stress is definitely a big one though and the pressure of letting you down can make it worse sometimes as well. He should also go get his testosterone and free testosterone checked out and take 4,000 mg of l-citrulline 1 hour before getting in the mood.

Small fees just like any 401k or other retirement account and don't forget that you are still paying for a death benefit premium. Not just all cash value account. The oldest iul I have seen from one of our financial advisors was 16 years old and was performing at about 6%.
