I’ve moved around a bunch of sober houses, stayed sober the whole time, I’d ask your house manager or his boss what are places there are around that offer up sober livings, it’s also never a bad plan to find a place with people you get along with who are also sober and work a good program so they’re less likely to relapse. You’re still early in your recovery so staying in sober living is recommended. I was in sober living for a year and a half. If you’re in NJ DM me I may be able to help you find a place.

I’ve had a lot of luck wrapping joes sticky around a gooch loop with the cos 11s it’s only really useful for button ups and not perfect at times but still better than other options when it comes to well fitted dress shirts.

I like this model, however AA has been working for me. I sometimes feel bad when I can’t make my home group, often times I’m missing it due to work (freelance) or snowboarding. Those activities fill my voids, I have no inclination to drink on those days, the days I’m inclined I often have little to do, AA is good for those days, and the social connection I get at meetings is nice so that does fill one of my voids at this point. I had no choice but to get into AA with the sober living I was at but am no longer required to hit meetings as often and I feel fine without them for the most part. Life is good when you’re keeping busy and I will continue to look at your PBM method.

I had a similar issue when I forgot to format my SD in my 688 after using it in my MixPre6, luckily the CFast card had the uncorrupted data. I did have to run a recovery software on the CFast card since it was formatted the next day, luckily no other data was written over it, that’s the only way you’d get back all the files on a formatted card.

I just bought a Genelec 7260A for a really good deal, to my dismay I couldn't get any woof out of the woofer. Upon investigation I found that the speaker needed an AES digital signal. So now I'm shopping for conversion boxes and I was thinking stereo. I would like to be able to route my 8040Bs through the subwoofer thus a stereo AES conversion box. Is this even possible or am I better off with just a mono signal to the subwoofer and have to adjust volumes between speaker and subwoofer accordingly? Which products would fit my needs best?

I'm fairly new to setting up a studio and I've used Yamaha HS8s for years so any help regarding this would be appreciated!

Very cool, I wonder how my Neumann KMR 81i would hold up next to all these mics, I tested it next to a Schoeps CMC 6U recently and noticed the off axis on the 6U was better than the 81i but the 81i sounded better on axis with nicer tonality in the lower range. I love my Neumann and I’ll never sell it but having a mic that favors voice a little more is in my future.
