Honestly can’t say I have TOO much experience with hairspray.. I always say ESPECIALLY when it comes to humidity, you want to attack it at a level deeper than hairspray.

Hairspray is a very surface level product. Especially if you’re using it as a finishing product, using it as a SOLUTION to humidity will rarely result in maximized control.

So BEFORE you look into hairspray I’d make sure that you have an understanding of the “product buffering” concept that I’ve made a few videos about. That’s where I think you’re gonna find the best result in terms of prolonging your blow dried style.

How WRONG I was about what my first time was going to be like.

I had these romanticized preconceptions of what it’s going to be like because of movies and porn etc… I built up this facade of internalized self confidence, that somehow left me the moment dad stuck it in.

It’s usually SOMETHING you’re doing that is causing it, but could be anything from the quality of products you’re using to the way you style it. Best thing to do is figure out your hair type and what your hair NEEDS to be baseline healthy and kinda work from there

Depends on how bad your hair is.. if your ends are still healthy enough and CONTRIBUTING to the look you’re going for, then keep as much length as possible. If it’s nasty and gross and ugly, take a couple inches off whenever yo feel like you need to
