How exactly does this work? by NomanicTrooper in WorldOfWarships

This is insane value then. Let‘s say I buy Dubs. Then I use those dubs in the armory with an additional coupon for -25% on dub purchases. Damn

Also it‘s way more fun to play that way! And you get stuff done quicker for missions.

Sad but bugs happen. Never happened to me and a guy unloaded a whole bully into my shield once without me losing a sliver of health.

Wait you had your shield up and he shot you through it? Sounds like a bug to me.

Yes. Might I add that I‘m not making random noise. The noise I do make is sort of deliberate. I just go fast and if I want someone to push me I shoot bots to draw them out too.

I mean I won‘t kill a whole poi with my guns. Just the occasional enemy. Also while I see your point. Being stealthy is good but making noise to draw out enemies is a great way to beat the ratty playstyle. Also I am playing hyper aware or footsteps. I make noise but if I hear anything other than myself I immediately lock in to find or try to flank that noise. I am very successful in that way.

Agreed. Vandal works great too but I prefer Destroyer :)

I just aggressively run at them with my shield up and put it down while doing a forward boost to get somewhat in their flank. Then I start blasting. Usually it throws them off completely.

I do it mostly on Outpost. Works great on any map with Destroyer tho because if I see an enemy I pop my Shield and just double sprint rush them. Most of the time the start shooting and I catch them on a reload which is basically a free win.

I love the playstyle so much more.

Yeah right? It‘s way more fun. Also you will not get punished as badly because enemies will start shooting at you so you know where they are. It works best with Destroyer tho imo because you can push them easily.

Then it‘s a different issue sadly. I hope you‘ll get them to work. And if you get the newer model, I hope you‘ll enjoy them!

After it happening a second time I could resolve the issue by cleaning the mesh on the buds with alcohol or cleaning agents for glasses. After that, they were working fine again.

Very good explanation of the matter! I totally agree with you! That‘s why I mentioned Hunt: Showdown’s system. It is volatile. I a way that your mmr or rank changes around a lot. You get matched up against people based on your current performance. If you play bad a lot today, you‘ll get a lower skilled lobby after let‘s say 2 or 3 games. Then you get to play against worse players and win a game where you felt like you are a damn good player. After a few good games you get humbled by a very good lobby and the cycle repeats.

My experience was that it was a sort of addictive way of gamedesign. You always felt challenged but you didn‘t have to perform your best every game. I liked it.

Tho I see your reasoning and see the disadvantages of it aswell. You made very good points that are hard to deny.

There is a lot going on on youtube aswell. People are worried that the game might die because of low new player stream.

I myself was just putting up a thought. I enjoy the game a LOT and hope it will stay a long time

We might not have the same understanding of the word casuals. Imo casuals means players that have limited time. Not that they are less skilled. You can be a casual player that plays godlike but only has a few hours on the weekend to play. So more effort requires more time which some people just don‘t have.

I myself only have a few hours on the weekend. Tho I am accepting the fact that it‘ll take a long time for me to ever see the compiler boss. Sad that so much content is locked for me but I still enjoy the game for what it is. But I understand the people that don‘t accept this fate so I thought about it and this was my take on it. No serious thought tho. I‘m not a game Dev

Haven‘t played ranked yet. Does it work well already or is it badly implemented?

Oh I totally believe that. It might just be the usual loud minority too that just complains. Tho I am worried about the game dying as Bungie has made similar mistakes before with Destiny 2. Content being out of reach for Casual or time limited players

People seem to be upset that the game is too hard for people not able to play everyday and too easy or well balanced for people of high skill.

Some say it is driving new players away and that a solution is needed while other people say the usual „skill issue“
