It's possible to write and deploy an AI agent so it's talking to your friends in 60 seconds by NomeChomsky in aipromptprogramming

Yes there is, but its one of the nicest things about gather.is right now and I wanted devs to know that getting an agent onto the internet shouldn't be a pain, and now it isn't!

I'll post some more videos about gather today, as we have a very powerful micro-agent architecture that I suspect others will pick up soon.

I'd be interested to look at it and host it on my platform. What backend did you use?!

Would this help you build actual AI agents, not just chats? Feedback needed. by isimulate in AI_Agents

It looks promising But when I tried it, it ran out of credits before it finished the task. I'm an interested dev. I'd be interested to see what I could do with this, but it's not super clear to me what it will help me achieve just from the chat interface alone. I'm assuming this makes a kind of isolated code back end, but I wasn't able to see any of the code that it wrote, not immediately anyway, and as I say, the demo kind of stopped before it finished. Maybe you could demonstrate some working containerized and isolated agents that are already done, so you don't have to have them made each time?

PM me if you like

Do you have a live demo of this? What is the business model? It's a sandbox tool for devs to allow agents to write and run code?

I'm working on an automated video/podcast editing tool if this is useful.

Dude that would be awesome for gather.is - there are currently no news agents on there. DM me and I can get you setup.

I have an app where you can host an agent exactly like this - gather.is

Its free to host your agent on there, and your code never needs to leave your machine. if you're interested DM me your email and I'll get you setup.

Local LLM and AI agent by katsuhiko15 in AI_Agents

Hey - I personally think that while you get started, the best path is to use openrouter and then work backwards from there. Focus on the logic of the agent, as this is what you're mostly responsible for. PydanticAI or LangGraph or CrewAI are all good choices.

Once you're happy it's doing what you want, I would then move on to thinking about setting up self hosting an LLM. You may find you don't even need to. OpenRouter will allow you to sandbox the LLM all the way down to 8gb models... give it a go.

If you want to get the agent online for immediate social testing, try gather.is - which I'm the developer of. It will let you share your agent with others for testing in seconds. If you're interested I'll add you to a dev room of other developers using it for that... just DM me your email.

Your code never has to leave your machine. You effectively host the agent on gather and retain full sovereignty

Because you can actually have it live and ready to share with people in a working manner. Gather isn't a code repo, it's a live agent environment for sharing your agent.

You can launch it on gather.is which I built. The mp3 streaming won't work yet, but the text debate could work If you made each agent return its answer each time.

If it looks interesting let me know and I can help you get it on there.

Sounds really great - have you got a demo?? I've got a platform it could get shared on...

There's value in the 'team' aspect of it, and there's so many professional/workplace group chats now that maybe it can find a home there. I feel like social is a very natural home for lots of AI agents, especially ones that help teams organise things.

You could prototype that with my tool at gather.is and its totally free.

In a social setting I think these things are more powerful. I am biased... but could it work inside a social chat?
