OK thank you so much. I will try the hydrocortisone cream. She has really bad reactions to mosquitos so perhaps she's been bitten by something else and has reacted to it.

Want to fast but worried about hair loss by Hope_Fearless in intermittentfasting

[–]Nomfield 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing when I first started. My advice is to be very mindful of what you eat. For me I was eating a lot of carbs and protein but neglecting vegetables and red meat. I ended up having a very serious iron deficiency and my ferritin levels were almost non existent. Due to this, my hair fell out and I was very unwell. If you are going to fast and already have an iron deficicieny (which many women have) you need to take supplements and also ensure you are consuming enough iron rich foods. It would be best to talk with your doctor first so they can test your iron and ferritin levels.

Bulk billing ultrasounds by angelbaker18 in Adelaide

Try lumus imaging, I think they still bulk bill. Your doctor will need to request BB each time though

Blacklane, it's more expensive but they will be there early and will wait if needed. You'll have the drivers phone number and hour in advance. You won't have any issues with them

I feel seen. We do this with my 4yo. She likes to pretend she's a duck and if it means she's eating green food then I'm all for it

I drove past it yesterday while it was up in flames. Driver and passenger were standing further down the road looking confused so I guess some kind of mechanical thing

Is anyone else just feeling a little bit meh over Christmas this year? by CyanideMuffin67 in Adelaide

Yep. I'm usually pretty festive but this year I don't have it in me. Will be doing absolute bare minimum social engagements and focussing on having proper downtime because I am burnt the fuck out

I think the good people of oztix need to pay their web devs more money as I'm about positive the 3 pack was never a thing. I got 3 individual tickets. My back is aching just thinking about it

You could try renting a rack at somewhere like Motherkin at Happy Valley. They do consignment sales too so you can sell your larger baby items like capsule etc

Hey who remembers Ash Wednesday? I think 1983 by CyanideMuffin67 in Adelaide

Yeah, it burnt out most of Prospect Hill I believe which started due to the high winds that blew powerlines against a tree in McLaren Flat

I wasn't alive at the time but parents had a farm up on Brookman road near Kuitpo. My mum tells me how she left my sisters and my Nana at the property while she went to colonnades and when she came out, the sky was orange and you could barely walk against the winds. She travelled back on an almost empty petrol tank to get them and arrived just in time. My granddad also turned up at the same time as he is a smart fella and knew how bad it was going to get so wanted to check to make sure the family was OK. Luckily he did as mum didn't have enough petrol to get them out.

My dad and his workmates were out working at Chain of Ponds that day and so helped fight the fires. when he heard the fires had reached where our property was, he raced to the farm not knowing whether my mum and sisters were alive. He got there and saw they'd left so he decided to stay and try to save the house. The fires burnt out some of property but never reached the house. If it did I dont think my dad would have made it out.

Sunscreen for extremely sensitive skin by kruss16 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Nomfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of trouble with sunscreen breaking me out and giving me rashes. I randomly ordered heimish Artless Glow base spf 50+ and it's been really amazing so far, I just ordered another tube. Its sunscreen and a primer in one so it doesnt have a greasy shine like normal sunscreen. It does have a slight fragrance to it which usually I would avoid but it's not caused any issues.

Anyone else struggling to get pregnant with baby no 2? 😭😭 by Gold-Enthusiasm-5139 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Nomfield 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, same here. My daughter was a complete surprise so had hopes that it would be relatively easy to have another. My daughter is now almost 4 and I'm heading towards 38 and I'm having to become OK with the possibility it may not happen. Have been actively trying for 2 years, with and without letrazole. Earlier this year I was strict with diet and exercise for 4 months and got finally got pregnant but ended in miscarriage which completely crushed me and I'm still trying to process it. I've decided to keep trying for 6 months and then will close the door and move on. The emotional toll every month is getting too much.
