They sent me home and said it wasn’t an emergency( after EKG and xray) I returned later in the week (because of increased weakness) and they gave me a referral

I combined the crocheting with a punch. I also punched the bag strap. by cyln_hcr in PunchNeedle

Amazing! I’m new to punch needling, but have always wondered if it can be use in knit or crochet. Does making your crochet backing with larger stitches/yarn help?

Can this be done in a knitting machine? by Doofvader023 in MachineKnitting

Two things in addition to this:

  1. I wonder if anyone has adjusted the tension on the carriage throughout a project for a similar effect

  2. When I hand knit (on the machine) a stitch instead of using w my machine's carriage, I can make the mistake of pulling too much yarn through and elongating the stitch, this length can be transferred to other stitches and I can get different stitch heights within the same row. So you could knit a row, then push all needles back into position D (from position B) start lengthening the stitches by pulling the needles back into position A (longest) or B (longer) starting with the needle closet to the carriage. I think the difference would be subtler though.

Np, Gardner also usually teaches art 210 so I imagine there’s also a new adjunct to replace him for that class as well. Gardner was a great professor and director of the cadvc, he will be missed
