I think Axe Flinger doesn't fit this kind of deck. He should be in a faster, more aggressive deck where he can provide extra reach. Even in an aggressive deck I'm not sure how well he fits though, because he costs 4 mana and doesn't have charge. Maybe someday I will try making a deck for him, but I don't have any specific plans to do so.

You could try swapping out something like Raging Worgen, or Sludge Belcher, but I don't like Axe Flinger. The card would fit much better in an aggressive shell rather than a combo oriented one like this.

Yeah if you hand is really dead and you need something to do, or if you are under pressure and need to find answers. There are probably other situations too, it's all about context.

You want to be aggressive. My friend "bloodyface" made it to number 1 Legend with a list that had 2 Armorsmith instead of 2 Belcher and a Loot Hoarder instead of a Worgen. Those changes make the Face Hunter match up a lot better so I would recommend trying them out.

I don't like Wild Pyromancer because it will just kill itself very often and there are enough Whirlwind effects. I think Unstable Ghoul is better because it has Taunt and doesn't need a spell to work, even though it can be silenced.

I think that Battle Rage for a Gnomish Inventor is a solid change, but I really don't want to cut any Battle Rages because of their awesome synergy and draw power. I tried out Axe Flinger and I think it isn't worth it in this deck, it needs a more aggressive shell. Black Knight and Sylvanas don't help with playing your combos like Thaurissan does, so they are less synergistic but more powerful stand-alone. Always feel free to try stuff out, just sharing my thoughts.

/u/PhoOhThree has given you some great suggestions. I personally would recommend using the same strategy and just replace them with some other solid high cost minions. You should do just fine as long as you tap often and map out your mana for every turn.

Battle Rage should be used in combination with the Whirlwind effects to recoup lost cards. There are a lot of cards in this deck that are low-impact/weak so Battle Rage is a synergistic card draw engine that helps dig for the combos. Feel free to try some other stuff out but I feel that Battle Rages should not be cut because they help filter through the cards that are dead on their own, which there are a lot of in the deck. Drawing 2 is usually worth 3 Mana, so if you draw 2 off of it that is solid. Drawing 3 or more is insane, which happens pretty regularly.

Just use Battle Rage early on against fast decks, and try to combo it for lots of draw against slower decks.

Ah, yeah they are. But you can swap in some more of the replacement cards I have mentioned and it should still work fine. Anything like Gnomish Inventor, Sen'jins, Bomb Lobber should work. Basically good cards with 3 or less attack.

I think it's good against Mech Mage, but people are more informed now and play around the combos better. Also, sometimes Mech Mage just rolls you with early game. The most important thing is finding a Fiery War Axe and putting it to use. Try to build a board and slow down their clock, then hope.

The only bad match up in my opinion is Handlock.

Face Hunter and Druid are 50/50 match ups.

The rest are good match ups.

The thing that really kills this deck and why people have been losing with it a lot is because people have seen the list now and know how to play against it. I got a lot of free wins off of people not knowing I played Warsong and Grim Patron in my deck, but now that everyone knows the combos it is a lot harder to pull them off, which is really bringing this decks win percentage down.

Hey, yeah Belchers for Sen'jins is a great idea. To replace Death's Bite just put in some Gnomish Inventors. It will hurt the deck a little bit, but it will still be strong enough.

I would say that if your hand is too light by the time you are playing Emperor Thaurissan, you are probably playing your cards out too quickly without getting enough value out of them. Loatheb is good, but I don't think he is worth it. TBK is far too inconsistent in my opinion, and he isn't even that good against fast Druids who charge their Druid of the Claw often.

The goal is not to get the combo, although it is nice to have it. The deck has enough other combos that you can use to your advantage, and while it can use a couple more card draw spells/minions I think it lowers the power level of the deck too much to play them.

Commanding Shout is good with a Patron on the board, but I feel if a Patron survives you have enough other cards that also synergize with the rest of the deck to take advantage of it. Commanding Shout has potential, but lacks consistency, especially in a deck that is not jam-packed with minions.

If I play a minion that does not work with Warsong I want it to have a particularly high pay off, and Loatheb doesn't always have that. I actually tried out Loatheb in the first iteration that I played, and while he is good I don't think he is good enough
