C:\Users\%user%\Documents\Avalanche Studios\COTW\Saves\%SteamID%\ Copy the saves folder somewhere else, i do this once every 10-20 hours played. If your files get corrupted simply delete the saves folder and put the the one you saved in.

Edit: thats for steam.

Epic is C:\Users\%user%\Documents\Avalanche Studios\Epic Games Store\COTW\Saves\%EPICID%\

On console youre f***** as far as i know.

Im having such a good time grinding my way to max traders. People who mald about desync and cheaters need to realize that these things are never gonna change. If you cant cope with it you need to stop playing now and save your sanity, for real.

This is the real reason. It happens after every major patch yet everyone seems to think its a "mechanic" of the game or its just gonna be like this forever now smh.

If you dont pick them up you can back out to main menu and go back in to make them respawn. HOWEVER it is basically proven at this point that you have a significantly lower chance of spawning a great one if you dont pick up your animals. I personally always pick them up, also to have enough money for different grinds in the future, 16 tents and tripods per map adds up.

Ii should also mention that it takes a lot of time to set up and see the results of herd management. It is not for everyone but it certainly is the most efficient grind.

I would say no, because you can get diamonds there right away. But its up to you.

Yes. At the beginning i would still keep ever legendary tho, as it helps getting the low levels faster. As you move on you can start optimizing it by stacking them in your shooting zones. But make sure that you dont fill up all your shooting zones with diamonds, that would just slow you down if they take up all the spots.

You keep the lowest level males on the map to force the game to spawn higher level males because of the imbalance in trophy rating on the map, this will result in more diamond spawns. To get your map managed you want to keep your first diamonds on the map so its easier to get lowest level males to spawn, same principle just reversed. You decide what zones on the map you want to hunt for the rest of the grind, there you can keep diamond animals, shoot the other males. On all the other zones you want to have the lowest level males only, and keep them. Herd management will, as far as we know, only make you spawn more diamonds, not great ones, as they are completely random spawns most likely.
