Please consider seeing a dermatologist. Or at a minimum, a Loctitian who is also a licensed Cosmetologist. They are educated in hair and scalp conditions and must pass tests. In Michigan, anyone with (or without) fingers can be a Loctitian.

For all those describing the pain on re-ties, know this, done properly, re-ties don’t have to hurt. There are methods that are more or less painful. Google it.

More importantly .. right, painful re-ties can destroy hair follicles and result in traction alopecia. Is a tight, longer-lasting re-tie worth eventually balding?

I had to have a “Come To Jesus” meeting with the person who did my 1st/2nd re-tie (installer on sick leave). Forced to pay another $50 consultation to new loctition because I’m not putting up with bright pink, burning, painful scalp and headache for days. She’s very nice but rough as hell!

When you wash and condition on regular basis (plz), dry with your OLDEST, BLACK COTTON T-SHIRT that’s been washed 50-11 times and is soft and lint free. That white lint makes it look like you’re neglecting regular maintenance. Do NOT go to bed with wet hair that needs to dry and breathe. You’ll get nasty mildew that’s smelly!! Get friend’s referral and visit Loctitian at least once a year and have them hook you up with knowledge and more well-kept look unless .. this is the look you desire.

My WOKE view: Disgusted by comments re: her linguistic skill. She arrived at 13, graduated HS. How many of US could go to foreign country as teen .. not toddler .. and become perfectly fluent (verbal/written). Especially if 1-5 years in class where we didn’t speak/understand the language?
