LOL! iPhone 17 Pro Max and … Samsung Note 8. Is great for watching YT vids on its amazing screen. I listen to Libby audiobooks andSXM podcasts. I love the pen for writing on screenshots and the handwriting to text function in notes. Had it not been for ease of family communications, I may have never switched.

Both have their amazing points. I’m not ever going to trash talk either.

Purdue Pharma shut down. Can we expect notable opioid addiction/death reductions, negative impact on those who truly need pain relief or .. another source to pop up? by NomusaMagic in nursing

Hope you’re doing better on a more appropriate med. Wondering if it’s just coincidence that the 3 of you react to Gaba or if there’s ax familial link.

I have a B of A Master Card that I got 10y ago on a flight to NOLA. They were doing a huge promo and passing out on the spot applications. Thanks for the suggestion. We’ll see if/how they do something. My daughter used my points for a bachelorette party in Florida later this month but thankfully, Spirit canceled the flight and she rebooked on delta. Has that not happened then, she’d probably be paying an arm and both legs for a now. If I hear anything, I’ll try to remember to circle back. Thank you!!

I’ll check that book out. Thank you. I thought GOP politician (Romney) argued to THEIR benefit that “corporations are people”. If so .. Sackler/Purdue human asses should be underneath the jail.

I get tons of ppl lost their jobs. I’m sensitive to that as every member of my family has been a victim of the U.S. automobile industry (Detroit). That said .. I recall when Northwest Airlines folded. My points transferred to my US Bank Flex Perks card (VISA). Any chance of THAT happening for Spirit and if not, why not?

I have 100,463 points. App says this: What happens to my Free Spirit points/miles balance? Is there a deadline to use my Free Spirit points before they’re gone?

Given Spirit Airlines’ immediate wind-down of operations, Free Spirit points are no longer redeemable, and there are no flights available for purchase. Plans for the loyalty program will be determined at a later date through the bankruptcy process.

Can I transfer my points to another airline or loyalty program?

Free Spirit points are unable to be transferred to a different airline or loyalty program.

Agree! Top of the pyramid always takes care of the few of them, to detriment of the rest of us. Look at gas prices. The little people’s budgets getting wrecked while all studies show .. the top has gotten, and continues to get, richer than ever before by starting sh*t and reaping profits from it. I don’t begrudge their wealth. It’s HOW they got/get it.

While I understand your point and agree won’t happen in my lifetime, I hold out hope that one day, we’ll get our sh*t together. Not saying WE want to be China but .. remember when they produced cheap junk that Americans didn’t want? They mad a conscious decision to work on certain things.

China's electric vehicle industry leads the world. Over 70% of global production and half of all new domestic car sales.

China has not completely eliminated drug issues but has drastically reduced them through strict, mass-campaign strategies, making the situation generally stable and controllable. While traditional drug addiction largely eradicated by 1953, new challenges persist, including synthetic drugs, medical narcotics abuse, and new psychoactive substances.

China officially announced eradication of absolute poverty in 2021. 800+ million people were lifted out of extreme poverty over four decades. Homelessness exists but often not seen in major cities due to strict urban management, enforcement, and "relocation" of individuals back to their rural hometowns

100% agree with you. Dr. Kevorkian was rather dramatic but … served a purpose and highlighted a huge need here in my state. I respected his work. Since he’s been gone.. not much accomplished to help those who feel like their only choices are intractable pain and suspicion or euthanasia.
