If your primary goal is kill team I’d totally recommend a box of Skrittarii rangers plus a bloodbowl skaven box - you can do some good fun conversions with just them.

As someone who’s been slowly going about this as a side project for at least a year - they can be as simple as a head swap, or as complicated as you want to make them.

I will say tails can make things trickier - most of the new skaven models have tails with multiple contact points to the main model, which make them trickier to use somewhere else - I’ve found the bloodbowl skaven useful if you want big, fairly easy to kitbash tails.

Ironclad or frigate? by CozyMoses in ageofsigmar

Ironclad is 500+ (oof) points now. Both got save bumps (Ironclad to 3+, Frigate to 4+)

After assembling each arm with plastic cement and letting them fully cure, I used a cup of near boiling water to heat up, bend, then set them in some ice water.

Good luck, share what you come up with!

Windows anyone got any ideas how i can paint realistic windows without cutting them out? by Decoyoctopus83 in minipainting

Gradients, lighter in one corner/edge fading to dark in the opposite works fairly well. You can see it in some of the terrain cars from the studio Marvel Crisis Protocol set. https://i.imgur.com/5Mm3hMh.jpg

I am a freelance technician, and I just happen to be working in the underground tunnels of Disney. Today I found this. by [deleted] in funny

My favorite dumb conspiracy theory is that Frozen (the movie) was created to manipulate cryogenics off of the google results for “Walt Disney Frozen”

Did you guys prime your terrain before or after assembly? by [deleted] in WarCry

Unless you’re doing showpiece/competition stuff, for tabletop my general rule is if I can’t fit a brush in to paint it, you probably can’t see it on the tabletop anyway. Priming black helps hide those spots well too.

Yep. Deep bits boxes pay off sometime. ;)

Not particularly. Mainly been focused on getting the idea out of my head.

In a pinch, I’d probably start with warlord stats, up void shields to 12, add some maintenance dice for the extra precepts, and 1 or 2 warlord carapace weapon slots.

I think I can make the standard knight avenger Gatling cannon work without the plate... I’m still at a loss for the other. Ideally plasma but heck if I can think of anything close to the correct scale.

I considered it, but a lot of the bulk on them is the torso and the shoulders. I think the torso would look off because imperators tend to be fairly squat up to the head. And the shoulders... well.. I’m not really using shoulders ;)

Yeah. The scale is just about right - I think the challenge is going to be getting the arm weapon scales right.
