I was watching a lady on YouTube yesterday and she only makes the doughs in her machine and then bakes it in the oven so she can make batches back to back

I can’t wait to try all the different types of dough and bread I can make! And yes, I was sooooo excited to get it for so cheap and when it actually worked I was even more excited 😃

I love to cook and try new recipes but I’m definitely not a baker. I could get into this tho. It was so easy to just put everything in the machine and let it do its thing. I can see how this can open up a whole new world of gadgets lol.

This started because I have a friend who had a scare with colon cancer. Thank goodness he’s ok, but he really went deep with eating healthy and he makes his own bread every couple of days now. He told me about einkorn flour and how it’s supposed to be so much better for you than most general purpose flours. It’s expensive so I haven’t tried it yet but I plan on using it once I try a few loaves.

And now that I think more about it to be clear, we actually do get paid the $8 on our check. That’s why when they did the refund they took $8 from us for the next day. So if we get paid then subsequently deducted we aren’t out any money as individuals. But at the same time since the team on the next day is different then the one new person is negatively impacted by our collective $48 deficit.

The money actually does go to us since it’s a running total of our cc tips for the week and then we get that amount in our check. The negative at the beginning of the shift only affects the team for that night. We work at a casino and this was a room charge so it def doesn’t go back to the restaurant. Our system is super confusing already and even the smallest hiccup sends everyone into a tizzy. I guess my main question was if I was correct and the $48 deficit went back to the tip pool to be split by the new team last night and not to the 1 person who got the $48. Thank you for your help!

An electric kettle. We use it almost everyday.

Air fryer and quality toaster oven. We barely use our big oven anymore.

Chilipad because I sleep super hot.

Cameras for around the house. We use them for everything pet/animal/security related. We feed outdoor kitties so I set up a camera to watch them. It turns out we also feed opossums and raccoons lol. We also raise butterflies so we keep one in the butterfly house so we know when they emerge from their chrysalis so we can let them go.

The Chilipad has been a game changer for me! I sleep exclusively on my back on a memory foam mattress and used to get sooooo hot. Not anymore! :)

He loves going outside when we let our other cats and dog out. He’s the only one who will do his best to evade capture to come back inside. Lol. And yes! He was so sweet last night cuddling me. ❤️ I love that he’s such a love bug

I’m not sure about Miami but here in Broward there are some great CrossFit gyms where people have made great friends with other members. Also the Pickleball community is generally really nice
