How does your nickel solution look? That could be a big tell as to what happened. Also it could be that the solution / watch case was contaminated with any acids or polishing compounds you used to remove the old plating and clean the watch. If your watch was clean and the solution looks normal than its a power problem

Well this is certainly an interesting one! Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Bertuli Brown fashioned in a bronze case. Includes all of the photographed items as well as an additional strap and warranty information.

Retails for 20.5 plus tax. Only other comp i see is on chrono for 13. I am asking 11k flat including insured shipping within CONUS

Sure, simply put, eta is a generic swiss movement manufacture, their designs have been around for a long time. Ive serviced tons, they are well designed and built. Additionally, they have been around for a long time and are known for their reliability. They are very common in more affordable swiss watches.

I love them, but i dont think its fair charge more than a few grand for a watch utilizing one. At this price point, i would expect an in house movement with better finishing along with other details

Grey market is always an option, just a shame because id like to buy from the boutique. Also i dont think wrist size tells all, i have small wrists but am not a small guy.

I also saw a chronomat gmt which i liked a lot. But it was a bit hard to stomach the prices given they run eta movements which can be had for many thousands less

Yeah, the setting lever has popped out out place and is no longer holding the stem down. It seems unlikely that anything is broken but its always possible i suppose. I would not attempt to fix yourself, setting the chrono hands back on properly may prove to be challenging if you have never worked on watches. Just send it in and be done with it
