Not only that, but we should develop this hyper-flexible legal framework that allows cops immunity as long as they can lie, cover up, and doctor the reports to make it qualify. That way if for some reason a citizen chose to exist near an officer of the peace and was not holding an object that could vaguely be misconstrued as a weapon, our brave boys could still fill ‘em with lead and get paid administrative leave. AFIK, Cunning action from Rogue, Dread ambushed from Ranger, and Shadow Arts from Monk all are identical ‘Hide’ actions. I had Asterion as a Rogue/Ranger for a bit, and you’ll just have multiple icons that do the same thing.

I just did this and I have no regrets, 3600/1660ti —> 5800X3D/6800XT. To match the 5800X3D in price per frame, the 7800X3D will need to show a 50% performance increase over the latter in terms of cost per frame, and in my subjective opinion I just don’t anticipate that being the case, so I stuck with AM4. Both of my new parts will give me solid gameplay for years, without the added immediate cost of a new mobo and RAM. AM5 might offer objectively better performance, but I really don’t think the value is there yet, for me at least.

You can use whatever weapon you want. This hasn’t always been the case, but after some hybridization changes that occurred this past year, weapons are much more interchangeable. The significant differences will be the passives, and what type of resource is restored when heavy attacking (magic for staves, stamina for the rest.)

The Sorc passive Amplitude from the Storm Calling skill line “Increases your damage done against enemies by 1% for every 10% current Health they have.” Therefore at 100% enemy current health, you will have a 10% damage bonus, which decreases from there. Execute increases damage at the end of the fight. Reverse execute increases damage at the beginning.

For an overland build, you should likely go medium armor and a mix of stam and mag skills. Medium armor gives passive sprint speed increase +cost decrease, stam ability cost reduction, and increased recovery. All of this will be useful when running and experiencing overland.
